Beautiful and well kept! Great winter golf!
I’ve played Golden Hills for years. It’s a nice, fun course. I feel yesterday’s round in particular warrants this excellent rating because they’ve gone the extra mile this year in course upkeep during the winter. It was beautiful, and please keep up the great work! Also, staff is very friendly. Thanks!!!
Great course, challenge to play
First time playing Golden Hills. Clubhouse staff were friendly. Putting and chipping green available but no range nearby to warmup. Course is in good condition and greens are in great shape, very pure and fast. Nice mix of holes that require smart course management decisions to avoid trouble.
Busy for a weekday
Love the layout. Front 9 pace was great until catching the silver heads not letting a single pass with no one in front of them. Fast hilly greens made for a good challenge.
Great Condition
Course is in great condition and have rebuilt bridges (much safety than before). Played using Hot Deal. Normal price has increased to $70 which is outside my budget. Most times Hot Deal is $59.99, but it was lowered to $46 which is in my budget.
Go to cobblestone instead
Not worth it. Poor pace of play. Staff was no where to be found and we weren’t able to be checked in for 20 min
Nothing Special
The course is something between a county club style lay out and an old school shot-makers course. A few nice holes that require some golf skills and few that barely are challenging or interesting. The back plays better than the front. If you’re in the mood for a simple round of golf, play here. If you want to be challenged, play elsewhere.
Overall course conditions were mediocre: small, nice greens, chewed up tee boxes and threadbare fairways. Members were friendly, staff nice.
Improvements since I last played
The coarse is looking a lot better than I ever remember. There is more grass everywhere manicured better.
Would like to see better greens.

This is a decent club, just needs decent people in most positions. Says they don’t serve Liquor on Sunday, but I’ve seen it being served via someone’s cup they brought and handed to the bartender so they could poor some mini shots in it. ( and this is not a single incident). One lady I played with here said she got drunk and forgot to set the parking brake on the cart and it rolled into the pond. Course Pace of play is beyond slow, its sloth like. No Ranger ever, and if they are around they are just watching, most of the guys that work here do it for the free golf and do not take their job seriously. I won’t even start with the club Pro. All I’m gonna say is be careful when dealing with said person. If money exchanges hand for whatever reason get it in writing as to what you are paying for. Make sure you keep your receipts as well. GHCC fired off a Demand letter requesting 10Gs to several different people trying to figure out who wrecked a cart. Poor management all around.
