Exceptional greens
The greens at this golf course are some of the best I’ve ever played in the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area. I definitely recommend this course for those visiting the area.
Hyland Golf Club
I have always liked this course but it has gotten too expensive for me. It’s not a $80 course. The greens were in good shape though.
Very Nice Course
A very nice course that the new ownership is in the process of rejuvenating. The greens were very good and the layout also nice. My first time playing and I’ll definitely go back. The only reason I gave a four star on conditions was because I played after Debbie and it was pretty wet, but playable. I highly recommend this course.
Very Nice Course
My first time playing Hyland and I’ll definitely come back. The new owners are working hard to bring it back from disrepair and they’re succeeding. The layout is nice and the greens very true. I played right after Debbie so a bit wet but still very playable. It is a good test. I highly recommend this course.

Loved the layout of the course ! Greens were some of the best I’ve putted on! Smooth and well maintained for quality and divots !highly recommend playing here !

Great value for the area. Course was in great shape. Will definitely come back to play.
Good pace and friendly staff
Overall it is a good place to play. Range is limited to irons only. I wish I had chance to swing driver before heading out from tee box.
A lot of great places in the area to play. This one is good but there are better places aw well.

Hyland is in the best shape it has ever been- great fairways & greens were great!!! The layout is awesome- & it seems they are always up to something to make the course/experience better!!! Very impressed today- will be back more often- JP
Great day of golf!
All the staff was great. The starter made us feel welcome and the grill staff was friendly.
The course was in good shape the greens were perfect...fast!

Great Day at Hyland!
My wife and I enjoyed our golf outing at Hyland. Course was a little dry but not uncommon at this time of year. Greens were fast and had to get used to the speed. When we return to the Pinehurst area, we will plan to play this course once again. Enjoyable outing.
Beautiful but long par 3’s
Loved the course and the staff. I was visiting family and decided to play a round and I’m glad I did. Par 3’s were 170, long for me. Undulating greens and the elevation changes were amazing. I would highly suggest trying out this gem.
