We knew the fairways and greens were just punched. The greens were sanded and putted fine. Barely noticed the punching of the fairways. Paid less than half the normal green fees. Had greT scores. And played in 2 hr and 40 min.

The starter was great, the pace was good and since I was playing by myself several groups let me play through so I finished in 3 hours! The greens are in excellent shape, but the fairways need some work. As other reviews noted, they've put in an irrigation system so there are trenches running all around the course. Of course, if you get in one, you can just move the ball out and hit your shot. By and large the fairways have grown in pretty well with the rain lately and are in decent shape. I probably would have been a little disappointed if I had paid full price but through the GolfNow discounts I ended up getting it for $39 which felt like a bargain!

This course plays longer than it states, because the greens are so large. And the greens are very fast and slopped.

A fun golf day with my boys, three of them, we enjoyed a marvelous round with a fantastic starter, a fantastic bag, gentleman by the name of JW, and a very friendly staff throughout! Made the day spectacular.

Great challenging layout. Variety of holes. Not a boring course. Play here every time in Pinehurst. Just put in sprinkler system so you need to adjust your lie at times.

Staff was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the layout of the course. Greens were fast. My biggest complaint about the course was the

pace was painfully slow, every hole we waited to tee off for at least 5 minutes.

Very poor fairways. Course just completed hugh project of all new sprinkling system course wide. Filled in dirt ditches everywhere all fairways.Starter told me they have not watered the fairways since Nov. Just now starting to water. Greens are very good, very fast.

The course is currently being renovated. They are installing new irrigation systems and every hole has a dirt Trail where the sprinkler system is going to be installed. The course is an interesting layout but right now the conditions are poor. In addition it turned into about a 3 hour round on the back and there is no one monitoring the pace of play

Really good layout and greens are in good shape. Pace of play is always an issue when I play here. Not sure why they can't manage the tee sheet better.

There are many things I like about this course. One of them is the greens. They remind me of the greens on Pine Needles. The layout is really nice. There are a couple of really difficult holes but overall the course is very fair. This is my second time playing this course in four or five months. Both times the sand traps were well kept and easy to get out of. They are redoing the irrigation on the course but we were able to play all the holes and it really didn't our game. This course is one of the best courses in the area.

50 year old course that has a great layout for shot-shaping.

A combination of off season conditions and on course drainage upgrades, the course was not in its best condition. However I have played it before and found it to be a good course with several elevation changes and water hazards. Very enjoyable round.

Greens were in great shape as always. Fairways have lots of dirt where they’ve installed irrigation system. I hate they had to mess up the fairways but can’t wait to play the course when fully recovered. The irrigation will be a great addition!

Traditional layout and unassuming. Great value and test of your skill.

Course is in terrible shape due to construction of new water lines.
