Overall good course to play.
Cart path only while we we’re there so took a little longer.
Poor Condition
Was expecting the golf course to be in better condition for the reviews it had and the price that I paid. Just not up to the standards I expected to find around Pinehurst
Show me some more love
Course is a very interesting layout. The course could use some, maybe a lot of maintenance love. Greens were in great shape and very fast and it is critical to be below the hole. Course had too many bare spots on tees and especially the fairways. Still with the attractive pricing it is worth the round. Pace was really slow today tho.
Hidden Gem in this area
Must play, Hidden Gem. Great greens. Fun Layout. Play the middle tees and have some fun. Hitting greens and making birdies. Fun to play. Won’ t beat you up like some Pinehurst area courses. Staff very helpful and friendly. This course will always be on my list of must play when visiting this area.

Nice course, found it to be in great shape, greens were fast but rolled nicely. Would definitely play here again!
First time at course. Built in 1973. A fair and fun course.
Overall the conditions were good. Some holes did not have paved cart paths. Not a huge negative for me.
I enjoyed the course and will be back. An Armed Forces course from the signage So that makes difference too.
Long Day
Course is in pretty good shape and a good value for that area . Unfortunately a 5 hr round. Marshall on the course but didn’t do a thing. Promised a cart girl but never saw her. Greens were average speed and in nice shape. I’d pay more to play plenty of nicer courses nearby.
Save your money.
My husband and I were extremely disappointed. The fairway and greens were in poor condition. New management obviously has no investment in a course that used to be beautiful and challenging. The staff also presented as unwelcoming. We will not return.
Very challenging
Nice layout green are very tricky and fast
Great track in the sandhills
Awesome layout. Greens were in great shape. A few spotty areas in the fairways but other than that in pretty great condition. Love the layout of course. Big rolling hills and the more flat pieces of the property are made up for it by interesting architecture that makes you think which club you want to pull. Loved the track. I will be back again.
Great course - conditions have been better
Played here a few times. The course is a gem but this week was a little disappointing. The Bermuda greens should be in better shape this time of the year. Not sure why but they were slow and soft.
They looked ~2 weeks from aeration but other comparable course are rolling much better. Hope they improve as the layout is great.
