Always heard bad things about this course. Was pleasantly surprised. Loved the course, greens were great. My first time playing Patriots Point, but not my last. Great rate thru Last Minute Golfer.

The course was in perfect condition for this time of year. little bit of wind, but for the most part didn't affect shots, except for number 17, a tough little par 3 with no margin for error. Will definitely play again. played the front with one other person in 1;30 and the back in about 1;50.

We played here in mid-January and the weather was fantastic. Caught a great day with only a slight breeze. The first 15 holes are pretty good, but nothing to get too excited about. The last 3 holes along the harbor are really what you pay for. A really good par 4, a great short par 3, and a really solid tough par 5. I had read that the course conditions can be very hit-or-miss, but the day we played the course was in great shape. Course is close to downtown (10 min drive) and has great views of the harbor and Ft. Sumter when you get to the last 3. Highly recommend if you're looking for a course near downtown.

Booked a weekday tee time using Last Minute Golf.Com. Great rate and excellent day for golf. Arrived 30 minutes before tee time. At bag drop was assisted in getting my clubs out and onto cart, gentleman very friendly and helpful. Checked in and was welcomed just as if I had paid regular greens fees. Everyone in pro shop very friendly. Asked if wanted to hit balls before playing, told them no thanks ready to play. Pro shop said just see starter and begin playing. Stater got us off twenty minutes early. We had a single in front of us (twosome) and after the first hole we never saw him again until number 18. Course was in great shape other than a few downed trees that the course was working to remove. Greens were in great shape for January and sand traps actually had dry sand and were racked smooth. I'm from Virginia and don't see dry courses or much sand in traps this time of year. Overall was a great day. Keep up the good work guys.

This course is a wonderful course to play, found ia great deal using GolfNow at a great price. Seemed to be some confusion between the GolfNow posted time and the course time for when we were going to get to play. Direction to each hole could be better marked, I thought because of storms perhaps it's hard to keep up with however that's just my uninformed observation. Overall we loved this course and will be back to play another day.

The course has been upgraded in recent years. Greens were in perfect condition and balls rolled true. Fairways were good despite recent heavy rains. I liked that they cleaned up the underbrush so that one could see the harbor from many of the holes on the course, not just the last 3 holes. We had a somewhat cold windy day, but very much enjoyed the round. Pace of play was great (although that may have been due to the weather). Lastly, we found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff in the pro shop was very friendly. After asking if this was my 1st time, helped with cart, practice, and location of #1 tee. Started was big help in explaining course and put me out ahead of my tee time. Not very busy in early December so pace of play was great. Course was in what I thought was good shape for December (from being from Ohio?). Greens roll very true, was able to make a couple long putts. Signature hole is definitely par 3 #17 looking into the harbor. Very nice, especially with being to find a "Hot Deal".

Perfect weather and what a beautiful course especially when you get to the water holes on the back nine. Got lucky and played 18 in two hours which is my kind of golf. Definitely a great value for what I paid.

Really enjoyed this course. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had an early tee time and got around the course well under 4 hours, even had time to take some pictures of the course and surrounding areas.

This is a great course but pace of play is ridiculous. No marshalls, groups of five and even six on some holes.

Big Mosquito issue. Course is not marked well for distance of hazards. Cart path only on day played.

We are new to the game so our experience is limited to the five courses we have played on. That being said, patriots point is our second favorite so far. Hole 17 is quite a challenge!

Course in good shape (except had just aerated greens). Nice layout and great views of Charleston Harbor.

I had family visiting from Alabama and we had a wonderful time on patriots point! Gotta love the 17th hole! Par 3 on the ocean side. Very cool. I play patriots point quite often and won't be slowing down anytime soon. I recommend this course 100%

Course was flat, holes back to back, conditions were average at best (greens and tee boxes had damage, fairways and rough were extremely bumpy). Three nice holes along the water and the rest was a three star course at best.

I live in Michigan which have much nicer courses for the same cost. Not sure if SC courses are garbage or if the location (along the coast in Charleston) commands a more expensive price.

Grear value, incredible views, dryad was wonderful. However, 3 greens still in repair & temp ones hard to talk Ferron a distance. Also, the other greens were incredibly show, up until 17 & 18, both suddenly slick.

Pave of play hindered for us and others as exceptionally high rough swallowed up balls. We & others passed up basks a few times before finding them buried, or hd to drop.

Akzo surprised how choppy the fairways were. Glad we had the awesome Golf Now discount. I'd be discouraged paying full price with these conditions

Course has recovered nicely from the October floods - looks like the 3 temp greens will be gone soon. Nice views, fair layout. One problem is the rough - way too high. I watched people all day spend 5 - 8 minutes trying to find balls just feet into the rough. Really slows up the course for everyone. A local I played with said it's always that way, that the course is known for sucking up golf balls.

I purchased the round online through Golf Now and got a good deal for a Saturday 1:00 pm tee time for my wife and me. Unbeknownst to us they had a bachelor party out on the course, and also sent three groups in front of us out as twosomes, which seemed a bit inefficient. We joined the twosome in front of us, but that helped only a bit. We still waited on every shot which got to be frustrating. We made the turn in just under 3 hours. Not fun, especially for a mediocre course with several temporary greens. When we saw a log jam on #10 we called it quits. I went to the pro shop and asked for a 9-hole credit and was told that the round I purchased was a Golf Now "barter" round which the course doesn't make money on. Therefore: no credit. I'm still confused as to why that should matter. I paid for 18 holes, and due to excruciatingly slow play I had to cut my round short. How much would it cost them to give me a couple of 9-hole rain checks? For the $30 you "saved", you lost hundreds in future revenue because I'll avoid your facility from now on. Kind of a shame. Missed opportunity to please a frustrated customer. Botched.

The greens were in great shape and rolled very true. Apparently, the course was rumored to have had trouble with their greens, but the key word in that statement is HAD. Not only that, but the course provides prime real estate for some of the best views in Charleston. The staff was very friendly upon arrival, and I loved their Hawaiian themed uniforms. I will be back!

The fairways and ruff were in great shape. However, the greens still need a lot of work. They had 3 make shift greens that were ok. The big hole on those greens helped out. If you want to play a very nice course and put up with the greens you will still have fun. And remember you still have great views.
