Good course. Condition in line with time of year. Staff friendly and layout nice. Plays well from white or gold for high handicappers. The tips make it a challenge for the lower handicaps. Can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Great layout & will definitely play it again soon.

The course was in fair condition. It really wasn't that nice. The 17th hole was pretty with the water beside it, but, other than that I couldn't even pick out the signature hole. Ugh! However, it was the best deal we could find for the area. I would not play it again. Not very memorable.

The course was in decent shape considering the time of year. The pace of play was good. This was only my second time playing here. That last time was at least 10 years ago. I had forgotten about the great views on the back 9. I would return here for sure and plan on doing it later in the spring.

The greens were covered with sand and being worked on. Would of been ok if discounted baised on course conditions. Could be a really nice course if better maintained.

One thing that I didn't care for. There was a man on a golf cart that will befriend you on the first tee. Drive up and chat a bit and then when you are ready to tee, he will snap your pic. He will then catch you at the turn and ask for 20 bucks for the pics. He never makes it clear what he is up to. I don't care for carnival hucksters when trying to golf. If it was my course this Dude would be gone. They don't over seed the fairways just an FYI. Friendly folks.

The views of Charleston Harbor were great. It was a cold windy day with lots of standing water so it make it tough to play. Over all a very good course

Overpriced course. The man behind the counter let a guy pay first that came in behind me while I was standing in line. Better courses around this area for the money.

Enjoyed the round for the very reasonable price via a Hot Deal. Area was deluged with rain the day before so the course was very wet with some standing water. Great setting. First ever round in SC so I don't know how the conditions compare to other courses in the area this time of year. Some greens were a bit rough. Good value for winter golf close by while on travel. I wouldn't drive more than 30 miles to play here though.

The course offers a good quality course at a reasonable price.

Yes is all you need to say...tee it up and roll. excellent staff...solid course for all levels. Easy to get to, picturesque...will now play it once a week.

I have played this course many times in the past, but this time was simply dreadful. The tees and greens were unacceptable .

This course probably gets overlooked due to the quality and diversity of courses in the Charleston area, but I can say I was pleasantly surprised. Got a great price on GolfNow that made the round well worth the money. Front nine had one or two memorable holes, but the back nine is where this course shines. Great views of the harbor and the island green par three made this a course I would play again. Pace of play was pretty good, although it was a Monday morning so not many golfers out on the course. Not a must play in the Charleston area, but as a cheaper alternative to some of the big name courses, Patriots Point gives you an enjoyable round.

The staff and facilities were great. We found the front 9 pretty boring, but the back 9 had beautiful views and much more interesting holes. Course condition very poor. Fairways had moguls everywhere (or were those speed bumps). Greens mostly in poor condition. Would recommend it only at a significantly discounted rate.

My wife and I knew the pace of play would be slow, but the view and proximity to Charleston more than made up for the delays. The staff was professional and friendly as check-in through golfnow was extremely easy. I had no trouble finding a tee time and we left the first tee on time. Pace was slow, but the course was in good shape. There were very few hazards that came into play and most greens approaches were unguarded by the absence of bunkers. The sand in all bunkers especially greenside was excellent especially for a public course. We would definitely recommend the course with the understanding that it is a popular public course!

Greens are in lousy shape in some locations. Have numerous dead/bad spots, but it did seem to put ok. Also had numerous fire ant hills- one of which I foolishly didn't notice and placed several clubs on top of( cart path only) . Still ok to play with beautiful views of Charleston Harbor.

Only played 8 holes and couldn't take it anymore due to my wife and I waiting every shot for a 2 some in front of us.

They allowed to many 1 or 2 player groups who were not good golfers and slowed play down greatly

It took 4 hours to play only 12 holes before we became to frustrated and quit

Asked at clubhouse if there were course marshals and told no. The guy at desk just stated you should just play around them but it was 2-3 groups like this ahead of us

We played as a twosome but moved along fine in 4:15. The course was in good conditions. Cart path only was justified due to wet areas. Fairways were narrow. Rough was, uh, rough when you miss the fairway. That was the main defense to an otherwise playable course. Great valve. Terrific views. Will be back.

This course could be very nice due to its location, however it is poorly kept. The greens are full of sand and the fairways need maintenance
