Greens
I was told before we played about the greens. Thinking temporary on a few holes, but the majority were not up to standard. Bare patches and slow uncut grass. IF they can save them it will be playable, but not now. Yes the price was lowered to reflect the problem, but not enough in my view.
Course under repair
For the price there are better courses in the area. Had temporary greens and the rest where in very poor condition. I player only a few holes and left.

Charleston experienced extreme flooding in late 2015, and as a results our greens did not come back to expected in season playing conditions. We have worked hard to rectify our conditions including planting new sprigs on #1, 6, and 15 on July 12. The grass is growing back and we expect to have recovered greens conditions in the next few weeks. Thanks for playing and please come back soon.

Great views
3 greens being redeveloped and a few had some bad spots but always fund to play

Bad time to play Patriots
Three greens were made up at the fairway. The real greens were bad. Most Fairways bad.

Great staff, location, value!-still under construction(flood)
The only reason it's not 5 stars across the board is because of the construction. The staff and even other golfers were the nicest I've ever golfed with! I'll be back even if there's a few holes getting worked on. Overall, perfect day.

Great layout- poor greens
Nice layout and location- They had punched the greens and they were terrible. Hopefully the greens will come back soon, the rest of the course was in great shape. I had a nice time, the staff was friendly.

Worst Greens Ive Seen
Sand splashes up when you hit greens in flight. 80% of the holes do not have any grass on the greens, and if it is there it is just a replacement patch. Staff said everyone in charlestons greens are that way right now, but no other public course I play has been like that.

Nice course
The layout, tee boxes and fairways were good. Unfortunately the greens were real bad due to the weather that have had. Would like to plan it again with real greens.

Pathetic
This course is ok, but it is WAY overpriced. Also, bc they had just aerated, the course price was cheaper than a hot deal with the GolfNow app. There was more sand on the greens than at the beach.

Disappointed
I play this course every year during my vacation. I booked this round online with this website and when I arrived on 6/1, I was informed that the back 9 was not even available. Moreover, I was informed that the greens on the front 9 were recently aerated.
This is the type of information that needs to be on the GOLFNOW website. The greens were literally UNDER SAND and were not playable. Not sure how you solicit this information from the golf course, but it needs to be online.
Had I known about this course's temporary construction, I would not have booked the tee time. The course has always looked wonderful in the past and I'm sure it will again, but this trip turned out to be a waste of time and money. I did not even play the full round (front 9 twice) due to the conditions.

I'm sorry that you were not informed properly on GolfNow about the current conditions that we're experiencing as a result of the flood in Charleston in late 2015. I personally reached out to the company and had them update our information online so there will be no further miscommunication. We apologize that this happened.
The views are the only thing worth the trip
How sad that this course has lost almost every green on the course, most were to the point of being unputtable. The rest of the course was no more than a muni course at best. The views of the harbor area and the bridge are phenomenal but that's about it, bring your camera and leave your clubs at home.

Friendly staff, very nice course with beautiful views.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the course enjoyable and beautiful, and quite challenging in spots. The last 3 holes offer a scenic view of the Cooper River and 3 islands, including historic Fort Sumpter.

Great Charleston Course
Very courteous staff, with nice pro shop and great facilities. Course was in great shape, views of the water, harbor, and downtown Charleston were great. One of the better golf experiences in the area for the money.

Not what I thought
Course for fee not good, course is simply keep up as a ordinary public course! For the conditions not worth the money even with the GolfNow discount.

Expected More
The course is a muni at best. The fairways were like concrete and the greens didn't putt well at all, they were very inconsistent and bumpy. I payed 48 dollars for this round and this course is more like a 15 dollar track. The bay views are pretty on the last few holes but the rest of the course is very bland. I would recommend the course though if they improved the conditions of the fairways and greens. I wouldn't play again otherwise.

Blustery day at the Point
Day was very windy. Range was pitiful. No grass at all.
Course fairways were extremely bumpy-hard ride on the cart. Greens were OK. Views were very nice.

Recommend
Good course. Condition in line with time of year. Staff friendly and layout nice. Plays well from white or gold for high handicappers. The tips make it a challenge for the lower handicaps. Can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Just so-so
The course was in fair condition. It really wasn't that nice. The 17th hole was pretty with the water beside it, but, other than that I couldn't even pick out the signature hole. Ugh! However, it was the best deal we could find for the area. I would not play it again. Not very memorable.
