The Golf Club at Star Fort sits near the site of a Revolutionary battle known as the Assault at Star Fort. The golf course offers a family-friendly layout surrounded by the region's rich history. The player-friendly design is gentle enough for junior players and beginners, but it's also great for more advanced players who are looking for a quick round. It will surprise you with a few challenges too. At 6,952 yards, the golf course isn't terribly long but there are still some good driving holes. There are some interesting risk-reward par 5s and some fun par 3s that will make you think. Star Fort's final hole is a par 4 that requires accuracy over distance since you'll have to weave through two ponds before facing an uphill shot to a well bunkered green.

Always a pleasure to play this course

This is one of my favorite courses in the South Carolina upstate. The course is always very well maintained, the greens have lots of subtle breaks, the speed of greens is challenging and they are in great shape despite all the rain this year.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price to play this course is fair and I will return here many times in the future.

Great Challenge

Course is in very good shape. The greens are fast and roll true. Word of advice; Keep it in the fairway, because that rough can eat your lunch. It is well maintained and thick. I love the challenge.

great shape

Star fort is a course I have played in the past. It is very well maintained and the greens are just about perfect for bermuda greens. The course doesn't seem as long as the yardage would indicate. It's very player friendly for the yardage. All in all great value for a very nice course.

Best greens in state!

they really take a lot of pride with their greens. they are very true rolling and very fast. You might be putting for a bird and walk away with a bogey and feel lucky. Great Course!!
