Palmetto hills
Not bad gor the money. Some of the greens need .some tlc but not bad
Great improvement
The layout of this course is great. It has massive improvements over the last few years i recommend it to anyone.
Course was too hilly and all tees were unlevel and in poor condition.
Unbelievable improvements!!! Hidden gem
The improvements this course has made over the past 2-3 years has been incredible. I have played this course close to 40 times in that span, and since last year, it has improved even more. The greens seem to be recently redone and most are in excellent shape. There are perhaps 2 greens that have always been in rough shape, but the rest are great. Leaps and bounds from where they were before; you can tell some serious work was put in. Same can be said for the fairways, which once resembled abandoned fields - fairways are well taken care of. The landscaping on the course and around the clubhouse has also greatly improved; and brand new golf carts with GPS capability were purchased this year. Amazing job Palmetto Hills groundskeeping crew for turning this place around. On top of that, the value for this course is unbelievable. Great place to get some swings in and enjoy an afternoon on a course that has plenty of character. Staff is always friendly. Great job!!!
Need a starter and a ranger
I’ve left early the last two times because of the slow pace of play. They don’t have a starter so you have people forming fives ones, single and two players not grouped with others, and apparently no one enforcing pace on the course. Unless I see that pace is being handled, I don’t want to play here. I like the layout and appreciate the progress that has been made on the course conditions. The last time I was there the 9th green was looking much better. Important since that’s their marquee hole. When I read that there’s a starter managing the groups going off I’ll come back, but otherwise I’ll play elsewhere.
First time at course
The course was in very good condition with the pace of play being excellent
Greens need help
The course wasn't horrible, I was upset I couldn't log my score on the GHIN app. Several greens had dead spots all over, which made it impossible to putt.
Needs to be $10 a round to be worth it
Fairways were decent and most of the greens were ok but some of the greens were in rough shape. The golf cart was a joke. There were 2 groups of 6 players while we were there. I don't plan to go back.
Good course for money
Pretty good course. Got confused a couple times and a few of the greens weren’t in the best condition, but overall it was pretty good!
New Ownership - getting better
Under renovations with new owners… this course will be awesome in a season or two. They’re definitely doing good work on the course.
Getting better
They have gone some good work on the course. It had gotten run down. But I was pleasantly surprised with bye improvement. They need to badly work on the ninth green, which looks bad, and is the first you see when you enter the course. All the other greens are much better.
Unplayable
Course was deplorable unplayable. Fairways were soaked and little or no grass to hit from. Had to keep moving the ball to find an area dry enough to hit from.
Left after nine holes. I would not recommend this course .
Hello! Were sorry for the inconvenience you experienced while playing our course. Unfortunately our plentiful grass is wet right after it rains.
Experience Maggie Valley Package
Were sorry to hear about your poor experience! Our 2024 Club Car fleet, equipped with VISAGE, GPS tracking and yardage to the hole functions do have messaging capabilities to inform us of when golfers are being unruly. We also recommend calling the clubhouse if you can't track down our ranger. Hope to see you again soon! :)
