No one monitoring times off the tee. Also allow more than 4 in a group on a Saturday. Ended up asking to start on 10. Really could do a better job with pace of play

The course has a ton of elevation change and blind shots. The greens were brutally fast and often times a shot that missed by a few rolls rolled 20ft away and off the green. Group two in front of us was taking forever and course workers were only concerned about getting carts because they were obviously overbooked. No groups within 3 holes in front of them by the time we hit back 9. Can tell they are trying to turn this place around but 5.5 hrs was brutal. Would give it a chance again if in the area, but wouldnt make the drive just for the course

Course is nice and enjoy playing here. The only downside is that I have visited multiple times and booked a tee time only to see that they are not open due to temp outside. Obviously if there is frost I understand. Drove to another course in the area abs was able to play. Recommend they consider blocking out times on booking site if not open.

This is the third time playing this course, and they are under new management for the last year, and they are doing much needed repairs to return the course to it newer days of years gone by. I like the layout, and it is worth giving a chance to enjoy.

The new management is trying hard to renew life to this golf course. It is nice to see that the new management cares and are motivated to make this golf course a better place to golf.

The course conditions weren’t too bad for a round of winter golf.

I will come back and play I. Late spring early summer to see if there is a difference, but I am sure there will be quite a difference.

Good value for the amount spent.

Great course play here a lot but should really have a couple guys blowing leaves on the course. I lost several balls that were in the fairway

We play once a week we love this course the staff and the owner are super nice I would recommend it to my friends

Good golf course they’ve made a lot of improvements in the last couple years.

Nice course but pace of play could improve. No ranger for starting and pace of play really slow. Waited up to 15 min each hole. Could do better pairing up parties of 2

Still my favorite course in the upstate. Work is being done to make it a better play. Only gripe is I wish it would keep the name Heddles Hideaway.

I learned how to play golf on this course about a year ago, at first in the winter time the course seemed fine and was cheap. However it continues to get worse. The management is apathetic to your experience, and the course is in a comically bad state. Greens are full of weeds, fairways are littered with crab grass and dead spots. Tee boxes are in absurdly bad shape, and even the carts are in terrible shape. They also allow huge groups of 5 or more that absolutely kill pace of play. There are more shirtless alcoholics out there than people in golf attire. I come back every few months just to remind myself why I stopped coming here and I always regret it. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Played this corse for years and is now under new Management. Hopefully they will get it back to the condition it use to be in. Nice layout but very slow and bumpy greens. Overall has a lot of potential.
