Elevation changes abound!
The elevation changes of this course are imposing and impressive. The fairways are lush and the 1st cut of rough was forgiving. Were their any flat holes...I forgot, but Dandridge has a 2nd winner on its hand with DGCC. Greens on the track alot faster than the practice green. Pro - Well manicured course. Con - No driving range.
Will put this on my "Will Play Again" list.
Best bang for your buck in East Tennessee
First time playing and the course was in great shape. It’s got 27 holes so they are able to rotate it and keep in in great shape fairways were tip top and the rough was thick. Nice Layout and pro shop staff was really nice and friendly!
Fun Course
Great course, fast play. Holes not too long and the greens were in very good condition.
Decent experience
Course was in overall good condition. Cart paths were laid out very confusing. A few simple directional signs indicating hole numbers would do wonders for the overall experience.
Also groups behind us were constantly teeing off while we were still on the fairway playing. We were mindful of pace of play and let faster groups, who all were all from the same group, go ahead of us on the next hole, so this seemed to be a cultural acceptance at this course. We continually felt pressured and rushed throughout the front 9 taking away from our experience.
As far as off site amenities there was only a putting green outside of hole 1. No driving range.
Overall it was a good course, lack of amenities, and others failing to yield to proper etiquette took away from the value of playing this course especially considering the cost of the course.
I will probably not return as there are too many options to choose from in the area with similar green fees with more amenities and friendlier staff.
Good course overall.
Some tough greens and varying terrain. Some tee boxes not in the best shape as are some areas of the fairways, but not too bad. I've seen a lot worse. Challenging greens. Worth playing!
Great people and great course. We were able to play a replay rate and play all 27 holes throughout the day. Greens were in good shape and challenging. One of the best courses we played on our East Tennessee golf trip.
Early tee time
Tried finding an early tee time so we could play golf and then have time for family activities. Had a 7:08 tee time, got there a little early(drove 37 miles and not sure of travel time). There was no one on the tee so they let us tee off. My brother-in-law and I played in a little over three hours. First time here and this caused us a little confusion a couple of times. Three separate 9 holes - Red, White and Blue. Person running counter was very friendly to us as well as one of the guys mowing on the course. Wish we would have played here our first day of vacation instead of day 6. We would have went back to play again. When we have another vacation, we definitely will return.
VERY DISAPPOINTING
They not only did they not honor a GOLFNOW tee time,t hey berated the company publicly in front of many folks in the clubhouse. I had to buy an additional tee time even though I had one already with a confirmation on GOLFNOW.
Compliment the cart paths.
I always enjoy playing Dandridge!! The staff are always great and the course is in darn good shape for the amount of play. Just wanted to compliment the owners. The new cart paths are FANTASTIC. !!

Great course to play, first time, greens in great shape, fairways as well. Panoramic views were WOW! I’m coming back in the fall
Great value course
I love to play this course. It’s one of a group of courses in my area that has really great views of the Smokies and Douglas lake. It’s a very simple layout, not terribly demanding off the tee. White and blue courses are the easier 18. Red 9 is by far the tougher 9. If your in the area give this course a shot you won’t be disappointed .
No grass
A beautiful day so lots of folks but the pace of play was good. Also had to make concessions for the virus but that wasn’t a problem. They just didn’t have any grass on the course. There Bermuda was still dormant and hadn’t come in yet. There greens where good! Really fast. Don’t get above the hole or you pay for it. I like there sister course better Patriotic Hills.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting Blue/Red at Dandridge Golf & Country Club. We hope to see you again in the future.
Awesome course
I’ve had this course on bucket list and it did not disappoint. The staff was wonderful, the course layout is great for all skill sets. We played white/blue and they had punched greens on blue, but I never hold that against any course. The greens are in great shape on white and fast. It’s a course I will visit again soon,. They have 27 holes so on my return maybe can play the red which is suppose to be hardest 9.
