Camarillo Springs Golf Course

The greens were in good shape, but the fairways were in poor shape. Many poor lies in the fairways.

so during covic conditioned dropped but as of April 8 2022 the tee boxes & greens are in mint condition , the fairways are great too, if you shank off the tee box you might hit a bare spot, but great drive get great fairways, no crowd so my 7:06 tee time we finished at 10:30 , so hatters stay away so i get the course to my self

Tee boxes could use some leveling out many of them having high and low spots. .. Fairways could definitely use some love especially around the 100yrd 150yrd and 200 yrd markers.. I understand that the future of the course is up in the air but for the cost to play improvements in those areas should be made to KEEP CAMARILLO SPRINGS GOLF ALIVE... Just an avid golfer that would hate to see another 18 hole course gone from Ventura County....!!

By far the WORST round of golf I've ever experienced. We tee'ed off at 6:30 am. Once we got to the SECOND hole, the marshall was already on us. Telling us to speed up our play. Mind you, it was 45 degrees, it was very windy, and there was no hole signage of which way to go. The marshall then proceeded to follow us the entire round, he was literally part of our group. The entire time he was saying we were playing 2 holes behind, which isn't true because we waited for the group ahead of us to get on the green before teeing off multiple times and we have the video and photos to prove it. He then proceeded to ARGUE with us on multiple holes. My other 2 playing partners even got into a screaming match with him on hole 15. Needless to say, it was horrible. After our round, the marshall waited for us on the 18th hole and proceeded to harass my partner who was black. They go into a huge argument and all the staff was worried about was getting off the hole so people didn't have to wait.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COURSE AND EMPLOYEES!

The staff did nothing to help appease the situation, they acted like children playing the blame game.

This place is terrible, a disaster.

Absolutely the worse golf course I have ever played. I have never seen a lack of attention to a golf course.

If this is the only option you have for 18, save your time and money and spend the day on a range (bit not at that golf course)

As with most California city courses, te drought has hit this one and where there once were lakes, there is a fry bed. Back nine there is still some water so maybe they can keep the name “Springs”. Overall, the layout is great! Greens were in good shape as well. Just bare spots on fairways makes it a bit of a challenge to hit from.

They let people off the back to slow everything up,NOT GOODAlso people jumping holes no rangers

Asked the person at 2pm when they think the 1:30 will be able to get out and told that tee times don’t matter

Course not maintained, I have seen public golf courses with better care and maintenance than this. No beverage service on the course. If cost was less than $25 to play, sure, definitely not $49. Find a different place, many options.
