Camarillo Springs Golf Course
About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Cmarillo Springs
A bit disappointed in the course conditions. They are dong some work on the course so the 18th hole is a par three instead of the usual par 4.
Very sad place, must have been good at one time.
Very bad. Starts with, I booked my tee time on Golf now as always with my Amex as I check in the pro shop said they don't take Amex, this is a first after booking over 200 rounds on Golf Now. Okay found the cash, $45 per player, I asked is there a lower price than we are paying/ ( overheard another player say they paid $32. The Pro shop attendant said "no because you booked on GolfNow". I paid $5 to book on Golf Now to discover over paid for a poor quality course...
So, onward, carts are equipped with GPS, but it didn't work . Tee box, Had not been cut for sometime, needed extra long tees to tee off.. Fairways, very poor, dirt patches, needed GUR signs all over the place. Second hole, tee box on a step hill, we discovered the brakes would not hold, so we took the cart down the hill, 40 yards or so, to level ground, walk back up to the tee box.
I could go on, but I think you get the point.
Things did not get better.
We where two, played through a super 4 some,
4 hr 15 min round, no one in front of us.
Our first and last time at this place.
Great time
Had an early tee off and a great day, little windy, but an exceptional day, hole 2 my favfavorite drive
Course has a great location near the ocean and surrounded by beautiful mountains.
Course is near the ocean, so temp was great. Economical place to play. Some areas need maintenance.
Great Day At The Springs
Four GolfNow singles had a Great Day. Good fellowship, great pace of play, course recovered from the flood. Greens in great shape. Play there again? Yes again and again!
Good Challenge in the wind
Fun little course in the wind. Greens and fairways actually in really good shape considering the lack of water
Beautiful scenery at a great value
Although southern Cal is facing a water drought Camarillo springs golf course manages to keep the greens in beautiful condition and fairways green. Best Bauer in Ventura county for the $. A Good solid course !!
Shaggy greens, beautiful views
Parts of the golf course (especially holes 2-5) are situated with a gorgeous backdrop of rock formations on the adjacent hillside. This view is my favorite feature of the golf course. Otherwise the course is OK. It's not kept up very well, and my biggest complaint is that the greens always seem to be SLOW. Takes some getting used to the shaggy greens.
Great Deal!
I played last minute on a "hot deal" and had a good time. The course is a little rough; bumpy greens and a little hard, heavy fairways or thin depending, but the $14.00 share a cart price was right. I've seen it in better shape...
Great pace of play
We went out as a 2-some and rarely saw the groups before or after us. We finished our round in under 4 hours!
Good Course
I play many times and they continusly mantain the greens. Its a good course with many different challenging holes. Recomend this course
Seen better days
We played this course at 1030 on a Monday morning. I have played this course since the 1970's but not for the past number of months. Although the greens are in good shape the rest of the course is not. Poorly maintained fairways, rough in terrible condition. Tee boxes just in poor shape. We were disappointed. We won't be back any time soon.
Nice course to play!
Nice course to play...Course is in good condition however the greens have just been air-rated so your putting will be a little off
Great scenic cliffs
Right near the 101 freeway...so easy access...in a gate guarded community area with very nice homes.
Looks like it was planned as a private course many years ago....the design has many dog legs and water hazards but no elevated tees...
Fairways, greens and bunkers were all in fine shape....cart paths were a little worn and the water hazards were let go...
I would play again....nearby cliff faces were spectacular to see....
Fun and quick
The course is nice at the base of the mountains and a stones throw from the beach. Cooler breezes and sunny skies make for a great day !!!
Camarillo springs
I've played there a handful of times. I show up and its packed with a seniors golf tournament no offense, but it was too slow, greens being air rated not a good day of play. Golf course is fun when you get into a routine. Beginners and seniors great place.
Enjoy
Great layout with beautiful surroundings!
This is a hidden jewel. Better than your average muni.
Unbelievable views from every hole. Conditions aren't the greatest, but pace of play (3 1/2 hrs.) and price ($24) really made up for it.

You get what you pay for. Maybe needs time to grow
Played a Sunday 7am tee time. Cost around $50. Had rained heavily. Greens were in good condition. Fairways, not so good. A lot (7?) seem to have been reseeded (not laid with turf) and were trying to grow grass. Definitely a lift, clean, and place venue. Decent layout from the blues, not too easy. Longish par 3s. Will play again hopefully fairways will grow out.
If you are looking for manicured fairways not the place for you.
Poor tee time management
Need to manage tee times better and then have a Marshall be on top of what is happening on the course. There was a group of 4 regulars that was totally holdign up everyone behoind them, vut would not let anyone go ahead and the course management did nothing to resolve the issue.
