Camarillo Springs Golf Course
About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Wet
Course was in decent shape, greens were good. Ya there was a few dry spots here and there nothing to bad. The problem was we played the first half in the sprinklers. Turn off the water during play!!!!!!
GREAT FUN AT CAMARILLO SPRINGS
I had a better time than I expected. i booked a tee time to play alone but was place in a three some. I was expecting the worst but instead I played with three great people who added to the pleasure of the game. I played my worst golf in sometime but they were pleasant and encouraging. The course was great with one exception. The water smelled horrible and did take a little from the look of the course. I would play here again though just wish they would handle the smell.
Average
The course is a good layout but needs attention. Fairways are bare in area's & the tee boxes are beat up. Greens are average. Good course to practice your game on.
Good course, with a little more attention could be a great course.
Staff was very accommodating and the cost though Golfnow was a Hot Deal great value. The views on this course of the mountains are exceptional. Layout and difficulty level is ideal for 18 to 20 HC with good practice areas. Facilities should be updated and the course needs a higher level of attention to maintain ponds and fairways. Course is over priced at $35 to $55. This course would be a good value at $25 to $30 for weekdays, $35 to $40 weekends.
Enough hazards to keep it interesting but not hold up play. Great for beginning to intermediate golfer.
Course in good shape and just enough of a challenge to keep it interesting. Highly recommend course for beginners to intermediate golfers looking to play a regulation course and not get frustrated.
Need maintance.... ASAP
Fair was poor conditions as well as greens very bumping they need to be rolled after they pull the cup.
Great Friday Twilight at Camarillo Springs
18 holes and cart for less than $30 per person... It's hard to beat that value.
The course is well maintained and the pace of play was comfortable. The course has a Marshall routinely driving around, which likely helps with the pace.
poor condition
poor greens and fairways + no marshal to encourage faster play.
Cam Springs use to be a fair and nice course with lush fairways and great greens
I have played Camarillo Springs off and on for the past 25 years. In all those years I have to tell you that the course is in the WORST shape that I have ever seen. To start, the course needs to be watered too many dry places-not spots, the tee boxes a horrible, my never stood on a flat area their dry and huge divots all over. Fairways need to be watered and seeded, if they marked "ground under repair" the course would be white. To top it off, Camarillo Springs Greens have always been very good if not great. They are really bad right now. I had very few putts that rolled well. They need to be mowed and ROLLED. There are too many VERY Good courses in Ventura County to waste your time at Camarillo Springs at this time. Mr Parks you own 3 golf courses put some money back into Camarillo Springs. The only good thing about Cam Springs is the blonde that runs the entire food and beverage dept by herself. Besty is the best thing that Cam Springs has going for them at this point
Great Value - Fast round - low congestion - diamond in the rough -
Played a 2:30 round, the Sat after 4th of July 2013 - Staff super helpful and accommodating - Playing in the afternoon - tends to get a bit of wind kick up in this area, however if you can hit a ball decently straight - its a great place to play. Different types of holes, and since it was near empty - I hit from the championship tees, which made the course extremely challenging.
great chipping area, putting greens !!
Not a course to play if your traveling. Good course for beginners
See above. Many areas of the course need attention. Greens are too soft. Footprints in the greens prevent a true roll.
Very wide open
This was a fun and very forgiving course. There won't a lot of out ob bounds, and a slice or hook will typically keep your ball in play. Very wide fairways, but the greens were slower than most. The bunkers were more like dirt than sand.
Camarillo Springs
Great course for the value. Challenging enough from the blue and black tees and easy enough from the forward tees. Pace of play is great if you play early in the morning (I rarely tee off after 7:30am), but this course can be a nightmare if you play late morning or early afternoon rounds.
You have to plan for your next shot.
Except for the gusting wind, I found it a good course for the money. It had enough challenges to make it interesting.
Camarillo Springs Golf Course
Set up against the hills of Camarillo the course offers lots of water challenges and narrow fairways. Club house could be updated and enhanced to provide an optimum experience for the avid golfer. Weather was perfect and setting was pristine. Overall a good experience and one I would recommend to friends.
Played 36 holes in under seven hours on Saturday.
This course is a good value. Greens were receptive and the fairways were in good condition. Bring your Florida short game, and watch out for the sneaky water hazards.
Greens in great shape
Luckily for the course The fire didn't get to the course
Great place even after fires!
I made my booking for the next weekend, a day before I heard about the wildfires, so I was calling them all week to see how they were doing. The fires came right up to the course but did not have much, if any, affect on the course. Place still looked pretty nice and was pretty well maintained considering that there was a fire there just a few days before. Added plus is that there weren't many people trying to play golf in that area that day, probably because of the fires, so we finished in just under 4 hours.
Very good condition
I have played here many times but it seems like they are making an effort to really keep the course up. The greens were a little slow and the fairways were in very good condition.
Nice track good walk but not too difficult.
Fairways better shape than in the past. Pace was good for a Saturday.
