Great Course Bad Day to Play
Fun and challenging course with rolling fairways (and greens). Seems to play a bit shorter than the course map implies, but a lot of fun. Picked the round day for our first round as the course was packed - definitely overbooked.. Saw a cart with a Marshal flag, but they were playing rather than maintaining pace of the golfers. We wound up playing only nine holes instead of the intended 18. Would definitely return, but would check first.
Great Value, fun course
Forest Hill is one of the most fun golf courses in the area. The holes are challenging and the greens are really fun. Great people, great course.
Always a fun track
I need a caddy to read my putts though... And hit them too.
A Gem in the Rough!
Despite a drive of 1-1/2 hours, the price and time were both doable. This course is located outside of Millington, TN. The reason I call it out in the rough is that it's down a county 2-lane road about 10 miles out in the country. But, what a gem! This course is, in fact, a one-off, designed and developed by Hiroshi Kubo, and is his one-and-only course. A professional designer could not have done a better job. the layout is great. One warning- many of the greens are raised meaning there can be a lot of roll-offs. The hot weather has burned a few spots on some of the greens and the fairways are fairly dry. My only wish is that there was drinking water on some of the holes. I couldn't recommend this course any more highly. Play it and I'm sure you'll agree!
Nice Course
FH is a nice course that seems to improve on things like cart paths and even the price to play. Pace of play can be aggravating at times, and the tee boxes could use improvement.
Course has lots of up and down lies, greens were in good shape and course does not drain well when area has lots of rain.
Always enjoyable
Grabbed a buddy and went between storms. It was wet but wonderful. Green's rolling really well.
We really enjoy playing here!
Only bad thing I can say is the tee boxes could use a little work. (But you can tell they are working on them) nice little hidden gem.
Challenging Course
This course is really nice but challenging. If you are an average golfer, like me, you’re probably going to lose a few balls. It’s still a fun course and scenic. You’ll probably see wildlife and maybe a snake or 2, we did, but if you don’t bother them they won’t bother you. The ladies in the clubhouse are great! I will be back.
Beautiful Course. Moderate Difficulty
5 ⭐️
Great Course. It’s definitely worth the 35min-40min drive for me. This course worked every dimension of my golf game. Not a practice course but a course to play what you’ve practiced.
Hot food is available. If you would like hot food on The Turn, I would recommend letting the attendant know when you arrive, as a sausage dog wasn’t available when I went to go play my Back 9..
