Knoxville Golf Course

It's a muni... a good muni. Fun layout, some greens are ball marked up, tee boxes are meh. Good to go get some shots in.

The fairways were in terrible shape. The course layout was difficult because of irregularities and lack of grass in the fairways.. I felt like I was playing in a cow pasture. I don’t usually expect much from a municipal course therefore, I don’t usually play them, but this one was not a good one. I won’t be back.

Greens are filling in from being plugged. Fairways are greening up and should start to thicken with the warmer weather. Still some fairways with bare areas and a few areas that have been damaged/roped off due to all the rain in May. Got a Hot Deal for $23 and was definitely with the price!

Got cussed out by a course employee for something I didn't even do. It was cart path only and he came and cussed me and my friend out as we were quite literally on the cart path. There were tire marks in the mud on the fairway that were not even ours.

I booked this course last minute for my son and I to play on a Saturday morning. You take what you can get at that point. My expectations were not super high given it was the only course in town with a tee time available. That said, the course was below my lowered expectation. I hadn’t played here in 30 years. It felt as if it had been neglected that long. It was a challenge to even know where the fairways ended and the rough began. There was hardly any grass anywhere. Most shots were on hard pan dirt. The course is very hilly. Most lies are on a slope. Combine that with no real grass to hit from and it was a real challenge. Greens were actually in decent shape. That was 1 positive. I would choose not to play here next time if it were the only tee time available in the area.

The course played as well as possible for the conditions. It was raining and 41 degrees at tee off. Greens were in fair shape but the tee boxes were muddy. Maybe mats would be an idea during these winter months. Had fun. Great play for the price. Staff was friendly

It was cold, course in fair shape. Got the round for $10.00, how can you complain.

Muni is a decent course. Due to its relatively low cost, you will get lots of retirees and beginners, so expect extremely slow play. Just remember, you get what you pay for

They can’t afford a Marshall, so play can be extremely slow. You would think with it being cartpath only that people would all walk to their balls at the same time. Not on this course, the older people tend to wait in their cart until someone’s done hitting gets back to the cart then they walk across the fairway to their ball and hit their ball back across the fairway get in the cart then the other person gets out of the cart and walk to their ball across the fairway you get my drift And no Marshall to fix it takes a long time. And I’m 61 years old so if I can move quick, so can they
