Overlooking the Cuyahoga River Valley, the course is known for its scenery almost as much as its challenging layout. It has a traditional design with a classic "out-and-in" routing, with the incoming holes playing uphill into the wind, making them seem much longer than the indicated yardage. Golfers might be taken aback by the punishing nature of the golf course. There are 58 bunkers strategically placed around the tough greens, which comprise the main challenges of the course. Enjoyed playing Sleepy Hollow! Would play it again anytime!
I brought a foursome from Columbus to Cleveland for golf at Sleepy Hollow and an Indians game. The discount through Golf Now made our choice of courses very easy! Everyone in our group was impressed with the course and would return again in the future.
Sleepy Hollow - A top metropark course
One of the most scenic and challenging metro courses in the Cleveland area. No housing developments, just beautiful natural elevation changes and woods. Tees times books fast on weekends, thanks to the reasonable rates. Lots of challenging holes with tough (fast, slopes, and hard to read) greens. The challenges of the course unfortunately sometime leads to slow play, especially for newcomers. Overall, a must play course in the Cleveland area.
