It’s solid
It’s a solid course in good condition. It is a short course in my opinion. Only a few holes demand driver.

Challenging
I have played Egwani for many years. It has gotten better and better throughout that time. This particular trip, the greens were in fabulous condition and running very fast. Trust your line and you can make some putts. I play the back tees, and it is very challenging on some of the holes to make par. The staff is always polite. It would be nice if they had more food options and potentially a bar.

Egwani
The best part of this course is that the greens are fast.
Course is relatively flat. Quite a bit of water in play.
Holes 9 and 16 are the same. Holes 12 and 13 are the same.
11 is just a poorly designed hole. Layup off the tee to hit through a gap in the trees for a second shot.

Very nice Golf Course
Good value, fun to play. Fairways are wide enough to find your ball even if it goes a little right or left. There is some water to contend with, but not overly intimidating.

A great course
I have played egwani many times (3 times just this week) and the course is in great shape, it’s challenging from the tips with bunkers and water in the landing zone for many of the tee shots causing you to navigate the course methodically as opposed to smash and pray golf, the greens were in spectacular condition and they don’t dig in if you flight the ball on your approach shots unlike most of the courses around Knoxville. The only gripe I had is that we had a 4some 2 groups ahead of us that were just god awful and at this particular time they didn’t have a ranger which caused pace of play to right at 4:20 min and we were rushing to finish the last hole because of sunlight (not horrible but is a fairly common round duration out here). If you haven’t played egwani definitely play it but if you want something different with some absolutely breathtaking golf I would recommend to go to wind river or island pointe

The tees, fairways and greens were I great shape
The tees, greens and fairways were in great shape. The staff does a great job at keeping the carts, cart paths and clubhouse very clean. The fairways were playable and the greens were challenging.

Met a person I served with and had not seen in 40 years. My second time playing there. Perfect conditions, (Staff, course, weather) helped make it a very enjoyable and relaxing get together! Get course and loved the atmosphere.

Best bang for your buck
First impression was great got to the course paid for the round got a courtesy bucket of range balls warmed up on the range which was well maintained. Headed over to hole one the starter was great polite and informative. Fairways were amazing greens were rolling fast we’ll manicured overall experience was great highly recommend
