Great greens, slow play
The course was in great shape and greens were smooth and rolling quick. The pace of play was disappointing, one group in front of us was 3 holes behind and nothing was said.
Pace of Play needs to be addressed
This is a wonderful course. It's always in great shape and a super value. This is the second time I have played this course in three weeks. The previous time I played was a Sunday afternoon. It took 5 and a half hours to play. I told my son that it probably was not typical since it was a Sunday afternoon. The next time I played was on a Thursday afternoon. We started on the back nine and played in 1 hour 45 minutes. Unfortunately, it took us 3 hours and 15 minutes to play the front with three groups on just about every hole. I love the course and facilities and hopefully they can figure out a way to speed things up.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
Nice relatively flat course with Undulating fairways and greens
Nice relatively flat course with Undulating fairways and greens, yes it was a little chilly 45*F at 9:10am tee time November 15th, 2023.
The day warmed up to 68*F and Sunny after 3 holes played. I had guidance on the course from a partner who had played here multiple times, which helped immensely.
The course was in Excellent shape even though the Bermuda Fairways were brown at this time of the year. The greens were fast and true.

Nice Course
Enjoyed the round - greens were in excellent shape and very fast. Pretty tough pin placement. Tee boxes and fairways were decent considering it's fall and we've had little rain for months. GPS was helpful. Only complaint would be no cart girl - not sure if they every have that amenity but it was a busy day and it would've been nice to have that.

Fun times
This course is well maintained. It's challenging, it's got traps, water, dog legs and hills. Greens are in great shape. Friendly staff and fun players around us. I have played this course three times this year only because it's about a 45 minute drive. I recommend the drive at least once and if you live close, lucky you. Thank you staff for a great day on my 70th birthday.

Challenging
I have played Egwani for many years. It has gotten better and better throughout that time. This particular trip, the greens were in fabulous condition and running very fast. Trust your line and you can make some putts. I play the back tees, and it is very challenging on some of the holes to make par. The staff is always polite. It would be nice if they had more food options and potentially a bar.

Egwani
The best part of this course is that the greens are fast.
Course is relatively flat. Quite a bit of water in play.
Holes 9 and 16 are the same. Holes 12 and 13 are the same.
11 is just a poorly designed hole. Layup off the tee to hit through a gap in the trees for a second shot.

Very nice Golf Course
Good value, fun to play. Fairways are wide enough to find your ball even if it goes a little right or left. There is some water to contend with, but not overly intimidating.

A great course
I have played egwani many times (3 times just this week) and the course is in great shape, it’s challenging from the tips with bunkers and water in the landing zone for many of the tee shots causing you to navigate the course methodically as opposed to smash and pray golf, the greens were in spectacular condition and they don’t dig in if you flight the ball on your approach shots unlike most of the courses around Knoxville. The only gripe I had is that we had a 4some 2 groups ahead of us that were just god awful and at this particular time they didn’t have a ranger which caused pace of play to right at 4:20 min and we were rushing to finish the last hole because of sunlight (not horrible but is a fairly common round duration out here). If you haven’t played egwani definitely play it but if you want something different with some absolutely breathtaking golf I would recommend to go to wind river or island pointe
