Nice track
Due to 2" of rain the day before we were "cart path only" but this was only a slight inconvenience as we were able to cover the 18 in 3 1/2 hours! Greens were in good shape and fairways. Course was in great shape. loved the layout. Good use of hazards, and natural setting. Saw all kinds of wildlife on the course.
Slow play
The course was ok ,but the pace of play was horrible.Playing as a single I play fairly fast, but the lack of a ranger to speed up play was a joke.
The best of the weekend
We just took a group to the Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area for the weekend. Played, River Island, Gatlinburg then Sevierville Highlands. Hands down this was the best experience of the weekend. Go play these two courses before the others. From moment of arrival throughout play of the course excellent day.
Enjoyed it
Outside of having 6 par 3s the course is in good shape. Greens were aerated about 2 weeks ago and surprisingly in good shape.
A Bargain
The course was in excellent condition in spite of losing some grass in the fairways to last winters cold. The greens were in excellent condition and very tricky to read. Arranging a T time and getting out on the course was a breeze with a very helpful and courteous staff. I would play this course again in a heartbeat.
Not what I expected
I had played the River Course multiple times last year. This was my first trip to the Highlands Course. They had aerated and of course this wasn't mentioned when I booked the tee time or at the course. So we find out about this when we get to the green on #1. The course just wasn't in the shape I have come to expect when playing Sevierville. Hopefully in the next month or so this will change. Several of the greens had sand around the edges and no grass.
Very good value
We played the highlands course. Very nice greens. Very well maintained course. I would play again when back in the area. Has a good practice area and driving range.
Great Course
Great course and staff was very friendly. Hope to come back sometime and play when the fairways are green and not brown from the winter.
great course
my group loves to play this course because it is not a easy course. We love the layout and the view it has to offer. All holes are interesting and always look forward to playing either course.
Great wide open course, but plenty of water!!
This was a great course to play. The weather was not good and it had rained hard before play. The course was very wet, still the course was fun to play.
The courses features.
This is a great place to go with welcoming arms as soon as you walk through the door. They have 36 holes and the Highlands course I played was well worth the trip. If your looking for a great challenge and a great course with great staff this is the course for you. I will definitely return here again.
Course is great but staff was even better.
Course is fun each hole is completely different. Each tee box you walk up and say, What do we have here, and what's the best way to play it .I've never played a golf course this fun and I played alone at40 degrees. The day I booked tee time the forecast was 55 degrees, got to the course 29 and snowing, so the staff let me come back the next day. Next time I go back in that area I plan to play both courses and take some buddies with me.
Tough course!
Fastest greens I have played in 15 years! Tough par 3 holes and some real rough make this a great test. Be sure to follow the RED cart directions on the paths or you can lose your way. Super facilities and staff.
great course, awesome set up
awesome course. Set back in the mountains and has a few parts in between holes where it's just you and the natural environment and that's really nice setting. it's in great condition for the time of the year. The greens are fast at the moment for sure, but it's expected at this point. IF there's anything to frown upon the only thing is how the lay out on the first 6 holes is so close to the other 18 hole course they have the "river course" . It's intertwined and kind of confusing if it's your first time playing but now that we have that figured out ill be back for sure !
Course is in very good shape. Fun to play for higher handicap golfers.
Course is in very good shape. Very nice clubhouse with a grill serving relatively inexpensive food items. Nice practice facility. This is one of two courses at location and definitely the better choice for higher handicap golfers.
This course is in very good condition, the greens are very fast and hard. The views of the mountains are great.
A fair but difficult course. The greens are hard and don't hold well. The par 3's are fairly long. The fairways are in great shape.
Back nine is challenging
The fairways were in excellent condition. The greens were slightly bare and extremely fast.
Great Price And Course
Saved close to 50 percent on this course. Not only was the course in great shape, the pace of play was amazing, and the staff took great care of us.
Great GolfNow value!
Course was in very good condition and tremendous value on GolfNow. The draft beer deal of
"pay your score" is a nice post round bonus.
tough course
rates are a little high, must be priced for the tourons!
