Good Value, woods, hiils
Lotta little dog legs and hilly holes. Gotta pay attention to the angles and slopes. Greens, given the location and weather patterns, should have been smooth and not choppy. 10th hole was closed; yet, it was the nicest and maybe most challenging on the course the green was fenced off but the rest of that hole looked fine.

Nice course
Greens in good shape and fairways also good. Hole 10 was closed so my 9 hole experience was really 8. Pro shop staff very friendly. Good value for the price. Will be going back.
Poor Layout
Lake of the woods is a good practice course but that’s it. Too many downhill sidehill lies on second shots . Has to be 6 or seven par 4’s that are the same . Trees on both sides on almost every hole. Greens are so tilted I don’t know what they were thinking when they built them . Not player friendly. You need pure luck to make a lot of 3-4 foot severely sidehill putts. Humbling even for a good putter

Lake of the Woods is a gem! The staff is always friendly.
Lake of the Woods is a gem! The staff is always friendly. This price is great compared to the neighboring courses. Just wish it had a practice tee to get warmed up. From the car to tee is tough. Hole #1 is considered a practice hole. LOL

LOW Golf Club
Number 10 closed,
Only played 17 holes because number 10 closed for a year . Grass is inconsistent in fairways and rough not cut in a lot of spots . Crab grass and roots . Not pristine by any stretch. Greens always pretty good . Lots of sharp sidehill putts. Number one is not a good starting hole . Not a great layout . Good for practice hitting it straight

Hole 8 has some ground under repair to improve the 150 yards and in fairway but is open.
Hole 10 will be closed most of the summer as we have a stormwater management project in progress.
