Not worth the time or money
Simple, go to another course. The staff is among the worst I’ve seen anywhere for any service and the course is annoyingly boring. There are cheap courses that don’t make you leave in a sour mood, this place isn’t worth the time or money.
Great Course
This is one of the best Military run courses I have ever played. I had a 1030 tee time and since they had some open tee times they let me start early. The course was in pretty good shape. Definitely a great deal.
Worth the Value
Pro Shop were extremely professional and helpful..
Good potential
Greens were not very good at all. Fairway was ok and the rough was practically dead pines. Tons of potential with increased grounds maintenance.
Sewell Point
Had a great time playing this course. The course itself was in okay shape. The greens were good overall and fairways/tee boxes were so-so due to the course still in winter hibernation. However, for $30 with a cart, I can't complain. The course is relatively flat and is pretty easy if you stay out of the trees. Therein lies the problem, every hole with the exception of 2 are tree lined. If I hit the fairway the I got par or better, if I hit it in the trees I got bogey or worse. I wish I had played this course early summer while in prime condition. Due to the fact that I played on a Monday and it was raining most of the day the course was barren. I ended up playing 27 holes, the front nine once and back nine twice. I shot 35/40/39 in about 3 and half hours. Recorded my 75 for the first 18.
Great Layout
First time playing course. Secured a hot deal and arrive red early. Pro shop staff were accommodating and let me tee off 45 minutes early. Donald Ross layout was outstanding and has held up to test of time. Greens were in great shape for mid February.. Would highly recommend.
