Lake Monticello Golf Club
Course was in great shape, Played the front 9 in 1.5 hours (1st player on the course) Back 9 in 2.75 hours (ladies tournament - shotgun). Very picturesque design and an enjoyable challenge to play! If I am in the area, I am definitely going to replay!
Gordonsville outing
I loved the coarse Was in great shape It was a little challenging but it would have been nice to no that you needed a code to get threw the gate to enter which I didn’t have so I had to pull over and call coarse to get in
Nice Course!
This one is a hidden gem. New clubhouse w restaurant/bar. Convenient range. Layout was interesting with elevation changes and some really nice holes which required strategy for GIR. Some tee boxes could use some work, but it’s Spring so I’ll give the Turf crew a break. Great value and worth it.
Hand full of par fours that could easily justify as par fives, only complaint. I’m not strong off the tee boxes..

Great value for money
We golfed late in the fall, yet the conditions were excellent. No delay in the pace. Great value for the cost.
Lake Monticello
Lake Monticello is a challenging layout although fair for all levels of golf. Fairways landing areas are tight with several holes having hidden danger in the rough.
Review
Played today. Greens recently aerated and no mention by x the Pro when accepting my money. Played 9 holes and quit. Greens were horrible and dry spots on the fairways. Nice layout but bunkers were inferior. Stopped by and tallied to the Pro. Asked why he did not inform me about aeration and why it was not posted on their website. He just shrugged his shoulders with no response. Might be good for local residents but disappointing to outside visitors. I’ll never go back!
Slow play
Aesthetically beautiful course. Plush fairways. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming. Greens aerated the day b4 we played so while not horrible they were certainly less than ideal. Not to fault the club. That was just our unfortunate timing. We were a twosome.
The foursome in front of us played painfully slow. We were constantly waiting to hit and our round had no rhythm. They never considered allowing us to play through.

Great price and a difficult well laid out course
We played of black which made it a long course also
Greens a little rough due to weather , but over all course was in great shape
