Sleepy Hole Golf Course

Sleepy Hole is a very nice venue but it was not ready to play this early in the year. The fairways grass had not yet begun to grow and the fairways were thin and damp. Not the fault of course management, rather the weather. The greens were also thin and hard to hold but putted true. Sand bunkers were full and well kept. We will certainly be back in a few months when the fairways and greens are luster and the course is really ready for play.

Played here three years ago in early March. Fairways were a little thin. This round, even though we’re in the middle of winter seemed better. Overall worth the trip. Looking forward to coming again in April/ May.

Great food at clubhouse good brew selection, awesome staff, beautiful atmosphere and course. Hole 18 is worth every bit of it alone putting off into the sunset.

First time playing here. Was cart path only due to the rain but no big deal. Course plays long for inexperienced golfers, for sure one of the more challenging courses in the area.

My only complaint on the day is the greens were inconsistent. They were aerated recently and very sandy, some greens were fast, some were slow. I would be more annoyed with this if we didn't get a good deal on golf now for our round.

Pace of play was decent considering it was cart path only, took just under 5 hours for the round. We only waited on 3-4 Tee boxes for a few minutes, on the front 9.

Overall for the time of year the course was in a good shape, and was a challenge for a rather new golfer like myself, I played with 3 others that are all 80's shooters and they had similar thoughts.

The staff was really nice, and the ham sandwich was delicious.

Pace of played was horrible due to the slow as snails 4 some in front of our group. They were on the 10th tee box when we started the 9th and didn't leave untill we arrived on the 10th tee box. On the up side you can't beat the view on 18 tee box looking at the hole. I will continue to play if the price is right.

It was the week-end and the course was full so a 4hr round took 5hours. No worries, had good friends to play with. course is is better than good shape greens for the most part are in very good shape. fairways have grass but since we have had no rain in the last few weeks they are hard but that allows better ball roll. Never disappointed playing this course. JT always makes sure players are off the tee in a timely manner even when running behind.

Good course layout and super friendly staff!

The greens were overall to soft and slow. Also uneven speed on several greens.. In general players are lazy and don’t fix their divots on fairway and green. Hi smokers! Cigarets remains on the fringe is bad!
