Fun and challenging
The course wasn’t crowded so when our group of four played the pace of play was good. The course is in very good condition, especially the greens. They are pretty fast with lots of undulations. The course layout is fun and interesting. The bunkers weren’t the best but better than most municipal courses. We will be back soon.
Course is challenging but not too aggressive.
Customer service was over the top. From the time I arrived to the time I left. Carts are state of the art and very useful.
Suffolk Golf Course
The only thing that bothered our group was how tight the GPS boundaries were. My cart locked up on the cart path adjacent to the 28th green and would not reset. The golf course however was a fun layout, even for lefties.
Slow greens and a little pricey
In the past I remember real fast greens at Suffolk making it a real challenge.. Today was a Saturday morning and eweirdly they were terribly slow. Unsure if they were even mowed. Way too slow and for $50 greens fees made me mad. Carts kept breaking too. But I will be back hopefully this winter for their 2 man competitions. Hopefully they’ll be lightning fast like in the past winters.

We had a great time. My 15 year old daughter just started learning and we were paired with an older gentleman who was so patient and took the time to help teach her while showing us the importance of keeping up pace. She had such a good time
Couples Day Out
We were paired up with another couple that knew the course well. Very helpful. Course looked good today. Staff is always friendly. Pace of play was good. Can’t beat the chicken salad.
