Golf is fun?
Any negative I have about this is directly related to my inability to hit straight and the rain.
- Clubhouse staff is always very nice
- Starter hooked me up with an earlier time
- Course is is good shape considering how hot it has been.
Excellent public course!
The greens were essentially flawless, and the fairways were also in great shape. The staff w,ere cordial and helpful. They have a new set of carts, at least for me, as this was my first time playing here in awhile. Delighted to see it has been upgraded in many ways.

Fun course , great price!
We played first off the tee at 7am and flew around the course. The price was great , the greens rolled beautifully and we had a great time. We’ll be back for sure.
Two to a cart policy
Challenging course … pro shop workers seem nicer… two to a cart policy here

Excellent Course
Outstanding course, very nice and neatly kept greens.
PGA quality
Nice layout
It's was a very slow pace. Course was in decent shape despite recent rains; 4 holes cart path only. Tee boxes were a bit fuzzy. But that's golf some days. Will be back!

Greens were a bit hard but this is a municipal course. Otherwise the course was in excellent shape. Greens, fairways, rough, and all but one trap, which had some standing water due to recent storms. If I didn't live over 100 miles away, it would be a go to course!
Good Sunday Afternoon
The Suffolk Golf course is a good course to play. The fairways are decent and the greens are well maintained. Playing this course put me in a tranquil place.

not treated like a paying customer
The manager spoke in a harsh and disrespectful way. he complained that we booked using golf now so I would have to share a cart because he had to pay someone to clean the cart and pay for gas, The course was not crowded. He said he had the right to pair players up based on what they paid not according to skill level. This can be very frustrating playing with another player who may be better or worse than you. The day was ruined by his attitude. He insulted our intelligence by saying you didn't read the fine print. Very unprofessional. The course was fine the staff was not friendly at all. He was upset because we used Golf Now and received a discount
