Suffolk Golf Course

Well, I was pleasantly surprised after not playing this course in over 20 years. Greens rolled fast and true! They were firm as well! Nice to see greens that weren't riddled with ball marks. Too many new golfers that do not know how to buy a ball mark repair tool, or use them. Course was in pretty good shape, only a few holes that had grass clippings. Unfortunately, like so many other courses, no marshal to speed up play. 5 hours to play! Way to long, we felt like we had to speed up on every hole just to wait.

Course is in great shape. Conditions were awesome.

Great deal walk 18 for $20. All 18 holes are in good shape.

I’ve been playing this course for over 30 years and this is the best shape I have seen it.

We arrived and unfortunately the person at the front desk was on the phone which was no problem but after he was finished he proceeded to answer the phone again. To make it even worse another employee just stood there waiting for the guy on the phone to get off instead of just checking us out. Other than that the course was fair even though there had been a decent amount of rain the day before

I didn't land in the bunker but a couple of the other guys did.

Had an amazing game on these nice wide fairways and well kept greens, probably lost two balls in the woods but that was on me lol. Great course if anyone is looking for a good place to play come to Suffolk, you won’t be let down. Oh yeah the food was really tasty too, the breakfast burrito, chefs kiss

I was having a bad day swinging the clubs but the course is not to blame for my lack of skill, LOL. It is a somewhat challenging layout as you must lay up on a bunch of holes and then have a long shot into the green, especially on many of the par-4 holes. The fairways and greens were in good shape and were rolling really well.

You couldn’t ask for much more from a course, especially for what your paying. Several challenging holes and a back 9 with some beautiful water views.
