Decent fairways, good greens
The greens were in excellent shape, the fairways were pretty good, and the tee boxes were pretty bad. It’s a fun layout overall, and most holes should be a fair challenge for the average golfer.
Great Shape
The course was in the best shape I have ever seen it in. The fairways are full no bad spots and it was cartpath only because of the rain for two days. The greens are in great shape they are rolling smooth and fast. My only problem is that in this time of covid 19 they putting two people to a cart even if you don't know the other person, or you have to pay extra to ride alone.
Great course for the money. It's been in great shape all year.
Best value in Tidewater
The course is in best shape ever. Staff very friendly. Greens are great.
Greens and fairways look awesome!
I’ve been playing this course for about 20 years and the greens and fairways are the best I can remember. The value for the money is probably the best in Tidewater. Only issues are the driving range isn’t great and the bunkers have no sand and no drainage. So if you go after a rain, expect every bunker to be flooded and if you go when it’s dry expect every bunker to be like concrete. There aren’t a ton of bunkers so just avoid them if you can help it.

one of the best courses in the area and one of the few with dry fairways. Greens were rolling fast and true and in very good shape. Our foursome totally enjoyed our round.
Course in generally good shape....
Course was in good shape except the greens were a little bumpy as it appeared they had been aerated a couple of weeks ago. Otherwise very good.
Excellent course for the Money
Very well maintained city course. Excellent Drainage as we had monsoon rains the day before and no standing water.
Great bang for your buck
Played from the Tips today (Handicap -10). Course wasn’t too difficult. Never recommend walking. A lot of holes are playing up and down. There are a few 90 degree doglegs on the back 9. Greens were rolling pretty smooth for morning conditions. Not A whole lot Ohhhhhh Laaaa Laaaa moments for this course. If you are looking for that course, head over to Sleepy Hole. I Teed off at 9am and finished around 1. No Starter but no issue. Would play here again.

Best Course in Area
Playing golf in Tidewater is great however, Suffolk golf Course was the best I have played on. I thought it was most well maintained and beautiful course in the area. It was challenging to say the least. If you want a change of pace this curse has lots of challenges that I haven't experienced anywhere else in Tidewater.
Very nice course
The course was in great shape, the greens were rolling nicely. Played on a Sunday at 2 PM. With no one in front or behind us!
