Clean Course
Very nice course, very friendly staff, will play there again when I visit Virginia
Only played 9.
This was my worst experience yet. They grouped me with a group that was in a rush and always drive forward before I took my swing. Also one of the staff members was very rude about my son driving on the fairway on a par 3. This was his first time playing and didn't know. We were so frustrated we stopped after the front 9.

Decent public course
This is one of my goto courses. The condition is good and the staff friendly. A great course for beginners and just some fun golf because it's relatively flat with a few water hazards.
An "ok" course
Greens were in rough condition on a few holes. Very patchy and some had bare dirt spots. I am a tee box cop, honestly I had higher hopes for the course, but the boxes were bad on about half the holes. It was a pretty course with a lot of water.

As always Kempsville does a very nice job of keeping the course up.
Municipal Love
Nothing better than getting out in one ppd the first Tee times of the day. Got linked with a friendly group who play the course regularly. I played terrible but I had a great time
Hidden Gem
The course was in excellent shape, however the greens were slower than they look. This is a nice course and the hotel on the site was a great convience.

Some of the signage was difficult to see but over than that I have no complaints whatsoever !
