Just an ok course
Front 9 is in better condition then the back nine. Traps are hit or miss as to conditions. Sone of the greens had a form of crab-muda growing on them. Some of the areas around the greens are barren making chipping very tight. But for $19.00, you get what you pay for.
Tee boxes were in a little bad shape
Over all course was in good shape.had for some in front of us walking. They were very slow took there time playing.
Slow play management
Front 9 was great back nine was extremely slow! 4 groups waiting at hole 10. Stopped golfing at hole 12 and left! 1hr 30min front nine - 45min hole 10- 12 - no one on course managing pace of play.

Good Value
Kempsville Greens offers a nice course at a good value for your money. The front nine is a good layout, while the back nine was modified considerably many years ago when the City allowed denser housing development and that caused the severe modifications. There still are a few things that could be done to improve the layout for a better golf experience. For example, the tee box on #15 showed be moved to the leg and back several yards.
My son and I had great time playing your course on Father’s Day.
Great Round...Course was in great condition
Course was in excellent condition. This is a tight course and the layout can be tough if you game is off. I normally shoot mid-low 90's. My only note would be that there are multiple tee boxes (I play the white tees) that are not level. Also the tee box on 18, there are some really long branches that make the tee shot difficult because the branches are over into the tee boxes (those should be trimmed.

Hot but dry. Rain over the past few days helped fairways and greens.
Nice easy course
First time playing this course. The staff was really nice and accommodating. Course was busy and had walker/rider groups mixed. Pace of play wasn’t bad at all. I got paired with another person and we had a good round. Some of the course and greens can use some work. There are two drivable par 4s. I will be back due to the price and friendliness of the staff.
