Prairie Woods Golf Course tumbles across some of Wisconsin's most rolling terrain. On almost any point on the course, whether you're standing on the tees, the fairways, or the greens, the undulating landscape will put your skills of perception to the test. The golf course offers plenty of variety with a unique design on each hole. The rolling hills determined the strategic placement of the bunkers and there are water hazards coming into play on several holes. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes and reward a well thought-out shot, but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. The golf course is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees but the changes in elevation can make it feel longer. Besides being one of the most unique rounds in the area, Prairie Woods G.C. is also one of the most affordable.

Very challenging but fun
Absolutely loved this course, got behind a slow 3-some, but that’s not the courses fault. This course is not for new golfers though, very challenging but absolutely beautiful and well maintained. 100% will play this course again!
Disappointed
PW used to be my favorite course to play, but I’ve only golfed there once this year as their prices have gone up, and the only hot deals they offer on GolfNow are early in the morning. If they offered some deals in the early afternoon, we’d certainly find our way back there. They have a wonderful staff, and the course is fun to play, so I’m hoping to get back there this summer!
Good Time Golfing
The staff were confused by booking through GolfNow but other than that we had a very good round.

Very nice course need to play it more than once. Lot of very creative holes.
Friendly Staff/ Beautiful course/ Value for the money
You get what you pay for and more! The course is by no means straight up and down.. well it is on some holes but straight up greens from the fair way and downhill greens. Definitely a fun course for Advanved players I’d recommend!

Umm yeah, horrible course.. i mean respectful people and amazing course... its not worth anyone elses time, better stick to your own courses and jus leave this gorgeous course alone.

We are local and it’s our favorite course
It’s not long, but a great challenge.
8-9 are (2) great back to back challenges and 16 is one of my favorite holes to play anywhere!
