Inniscrone Golf Club

This course is a little far from Philadelphia, but a phenomenal course. Very challenging and interesting design. There are no gimmies. Phenomenal afternoon value as well (hot dog, chips, and drink included). Would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants a challenge.

I played this course for the first time and already can't wait to go back.

I played on Sunday (8-23) with my 2 best friends & my brother, & after raving to them what a great course it was, I shot myself in the foot. When I played it last year it was in excellent shape. But not so much this time. It appears that no one repairs their divots, nor does the course. Some of the fairways were terrible. The greens were good for the most part, but slower than expected.
They need to close down & let the course heal.

This course is a hidden gem. The course and the staff are top notch here and will not disappoint. The only critique I would add is the ball marks on the greens were less than desirable but overall not half as bad as some of the other courses in the area. I will definitely be coming back in the very near future.

Excellent Course, Nice Practice Facility for a public course. Very cool layout, very challenging from the tips. Zero management skills, Pace of play was awful and there was no Ranger or Starter. Do not play this course on a busy day!

We were paired with two guys although we had expected to play as a twosome. The pace was slow, very slow! This course is mediocre at best. We were extremely surprised having travelled over an hour expecting a great golf course only to be confronted by a ridiculously laid out golf course with patching greens, poor fairways, hidden holes, unmarked and no provision for maps or hazard markers. It was a big joke! You can play just about any course in Lancaster County and have a much better experience at a much cheaper price. We can check this one off our list!

Second time playing Inniscrone, played green tees first and played gold the second time. The distances off the tee make club selection very important. Greens are a little marked up but the conditions were a little wet so ball marks are going to happen but I would play this course more frequently than I have. Really friendly staff and great price, if you live in south eastern PA or the surrounding areas this is a must play.

This place seems to have dropped off a bit. Pace of play was atrocious (perhaps due to the lack of starter and/or ranger). After 3 and half hours we drove in after finishing 12 holes. Stopped on the way in to play 3 of the holes after jumping the clog of twosomes that weren't playing well or fast nor letting anyone through. Ball marks are a serious problem here. It appears that no one fixes them. Putting is like playing plinko. Two stars because it's a decent layout and it only cost 28$ at 3 on a Saturday.

Inniscrone is known for being a challenging course with difficult greens. I found the course was great but the greens were poor at best. The greens were bumpy, torn up from recent outings and a lot slower than the practice green (which was excellent). I'm sure this is something that can be fixed but I was pretty disappointed.

The course was great as always, and for a weekend afternoon, the pace of play was good.
The track, and difficulty of the greens make this course one of my favorites on the area.
The greens were in pretty marked up though- not as a result of neglect from grounds crews- but neglect from players. Folks, please do your part, and more in maintaining the quality of the course, and your round.

Played multiple courses in the area and this was the worst course conditions I've have seen. It also happens to be the most expensive for standard rates. Off the tee almost half the holes you have to hit at least a 200+ yard shot to get over tall dense marsh like areas before you even hit the rough. I can easily hit 250+ however my father can not. No drop zones between the box and the marsh so if you can't hit a long ball don't bother. Fairways were average in size but very soft and thus many chunks missing. Carts did not have sod or sand to help patch iron shots. Greens were the worst I have ever played on. Divots were everywhere. I understand there being some from previous inconsiderate players that day but almost all the greens were covered in them. Also green were so packed down and hard that even spikes on shoes were leaving marks and making the ball bounce and take different paths when putting. Also made greens extremely fast.

Played on a hot and muggy day in early July. The course is not really long (play proper tees for your game), but the rough can be long and the lies are often sloped, so stay in the center if possible, even if it means more caution. Greens have some bad spots and are pretty tricky in many cases. Our weekday morning round took over 4 hours, which is a little long, but pace may have been due to looking for balls in the rough more than anything else. Large price variations, so look for the best deal for you. Gender is male, not female!!

A lot of odd holes, blind shots and tucked in pin placements. From fairway to green it was fair but not great for scoring low. Greens had just been cut and 2 putts felt like 1 putts

This is one of those kind of courses you want to put on your list of must play. You can see why it was in the Top 100 modern designs.

It does play longer than it says on the card. If you are a shorter hitter I recommend 'teeing it forward' to enjoy the round. There are generous fairways but positioning is important for your next shot. The traps are massive and deep .... what you think may be a short shot greenside becomes a much longer skill shot.

The club staff was awesome and very welcoming. It's a bit out of the way in the corner of southeast PA but very much worth the ride.

Great playing course if you like a tougher course and want to push yourself to be better

Course knowledge is necessary on this course. If its your first time playing I highly recommend having a mobile app to help assist in layout. Very tricky course with a lot of angled fairways and meticulous shots required. Shorter but more challenging of the courses I've played recently.

Inniscrone is a course that tests every club in the bag.. I've played here over the past few years and its one of the best values around.. The only thing holding it back from a 5 star rating from me, is that the tee boxes are chewed up on a few holes and the greens have some ball marks in them. Its a shame that on such nice greens people do not care to fix their marks.. You must keep your ball below the hole on approaches at this course as there are some real big slopes in a few greens. If you can make par at holes 4, 6, 12 and 17...you are almost tour ready... Those are some of the toughest par 4s that exist anywhere.. I will play here a few more times this year for sure..

Very much enjoyed my round, the front nine is a more open less challenging layout than the back side. The greens were rolling very true and not too fast. The tee boxes need some work, but over all a good course that makes you use all your clubs.

Very good design, great condition, challenging. They couldnt retain the membership to stay private, and that is to our benefit. It is definitely out of the way, and there are other excellent courses nearby, wyncote,broad run, glen mills, etc. It would be a must play if closer to phila but for what it is, particularly with promotional offers, there is not a better value in the area. Worth the hour plus drive for me on a weekend. You will not be disappointed but dont try getting here during rush hours.
