Wild Rock Golf Club - Wild Rock Championship Course

The three groups ahead of us were playing a scramble and it made our round 5 hours. Called for a ranger twice with no luck

Course in great shape. Pricey for my budget. GPS in cart shows distance to flags, but unreliable. Some holes GPS showed flag was 2 yards shorter than back of green, but flag was obviously in front 3rd of green. Other holes, just the opposite. Relied on personal Bushnell GPS range finder.

Greens were not good, aeration holes, on many spots we were putting on rolled mud, after 3 holes we agreed on a 2 putt rule for the day

Must try! One of the best public courses in Wisconsin! Great layout, incredible course conditions from tee to green. Staff was friendly and courteous, even the starter! Thoroughly enjoyed and will return to play again.

Love the course layout, the maintenance of the course and the challenges. Will be returning soon

Beautiful course very well maintained. The staff is courteous informed and well-trained. They do all the little things right to make your experience something to remember.

The course was beautiful but the holes looked like astroturf and the greens and hazards were horribly maintained.

The tee boxes and fairways were in excellent condition. The greens were aerated and we didn’t know until checking in. Significantly impacting all putts. Will definitely play it again, however, checking on course conditions next time.

We had good weather and a beautiful course other than the aerated greens. The beer cart prices are a bit high but I'll be back soon.

We were not expecting to find aerated greens during the first week of August in Wisconsin. Had we been aware of the aeration, we would have waited a couple weeks to play here. With the aeration and resulting poor green conditions the experience was not what was expected. The rest of the course was in good condition though.

The greens had recently been aerated and not too dressed with sand so putting was a joke. Never seen greens aerated in mid summer before. It is usually done in the fall and green fees are discounted. Great place to play if the greens are in good shape.

We love golfing at this course and were looking forward to our time playing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The course was beautiful and well cared for. However, we were very disappointed that we were not told ahead of time that the greens had just been aerated, changing the short game dramatically, and there was no reduction in the playing fees. Of course we will come back but we were pretty disappointed.

Greens were horrible. I was not told that they were just punched. The rest of the course was great.
