About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Large group play
Only issue was pressure to tee off before actual time as 1 player was running late but still got off on scheduled time. Don’t know why large group was insistent on teeing off early as at least 3 foursomes were right at the 1st tee box creating an off road experience to get around. Overall did enjoy the course. Greens were very fast and in great shape and will return. Thank you

Course is trying to recover, fast greens.
The fairways are beat up, given the time of year. It is trying to recover, most fairways are roped off, you must drive on the outer fringes then walk to the ball. Greens are is pretty good shape, fast rolling. It should improve in time.

Disappointing conditions
We have played here several times and like the layout of the course. Today the conditions were very poor. Greens ran well and tee boxes were good but the fairways were hard packed with no grass in many places. Run outs were full of sand but no grass. That made conditions tough. We will not be back for awhile. Maybe things will improve.

Good Condition
Greens in great shape, tee boxes good. Fairways needed more winter grass, some ruff areas around carts path to Fairways, shoulder issues. Great course overall. It's more of a 35.00 weekday price. Paid 45.00

out of control
the course fine but there were two 5 somes in font of me and everything was backed up my time was at 1pm and I understand there were a couple of skin games on Wednesdays I did not finish until 5:45pm . no carts cleaned and ready no real starter it was out of control.
It will be a while before I play there again.

great course, but
I realize that this course has memberships, but the members Get beyond special treatment at this course. They consistently let groups of five and six go out so the pace of play is blisteringly slow. Today it took two hours and 45 minutes to play nine holes, and I had to quit

Nice course
It's is winter time in Florida, so the fairways were a bit hardpan, ,sand was nice and the greens were fast. real fast. Nice course good deal for your money.

Winter golf
Fairways were a little thin. Greens had many unrepaired ball marks which I would remind golfers to please repair!

Nice Course
Clubhouse ran out of carts. Probably started 45 mins late.
Forced to ride with golfer you don't know.
If you can get past those two issues, the course is challenging but the greens roll like glass. A light drizzle saved us on the back as it slowed down the greens. If you are unfamiliar with the course make use of course gps to assist you with blind shots. There's always a hazard lurking around the corner. It's a local favorite so never expect the course to be wide open.
Must play if you are an Orlando golfer.

A Little Wet
Most of the course was in good condition, greens were a little fast. Normally your only concern for water holes are 9 and 18. There were several holes where large water puddles were a concern, if not knowing. Still a fun course to play staff are always friendly. Once dried out this will be a great place to play.
