Great shape
Unbelievable condition for fall golf. Greens rolled true and were pretty fast. No signs of aeration on the greens.
Pine Hills was great
Great layout and the greens were phenomenal. Don’t know how greens could be that good in mid October. Kudos to the greenskeeper.
Been a while
I have always loved this course! Very challenging. Know it like the back of my hand. Execution is another story. Getting late in the year and conditions are not as perfect as normal. But still a great layout, great challenge!
Love the greens and pace of play!
We haven’t played better greens with fast pace and consistent roll than the greens today, even with the heavy rains we had last evening. Friendly people, attentive staff and a great tract of land make this a fun and challenging course that is always well-kept. Thank you, Pine Hills for a great day!
Price is high
Greens have been aerated and sanded, yet they're still charging summer rates. And high summer rates at that.
I never thought I'd write this about a golf course, but they should mow their rough. I realize the rough is called a rough for a reason, but it seems unkept here to the point where the foursome in front of us was constantly searching for balls and they weren't that far off of the fairway. It made for unnecessary slow play. I lost two Pro Vs on drives that were decent draws that landed in the fairway, but then bounced slightly out of the fairway and into the rough. Another similar drive I found the ball - barely, - and it was only a foot off of the fairway. Mow your rough.
It's a pretty course and still recommended, though. Just try to find a tee time at a discount.
Excellent course when on Hot Deal!!!
Great course!!! Can be a bit pricey but if can get on a Hot Deals/Coupon it's definitely worth it. Morning Starter guy can be a bit of headache but once you tee of you forget about him. Great play always.
Pine Hills is One of Best Public Courses in Ohio
This day The Hills beat me up; especially poor final hole #18. Greens are hard & fast, and demanded full attention on some pin positions --#3, 5, 12, etc. You do not want downhill putts @ The Hills. Course in great shape, and fun to play. Thanx to GolfNow for the discounted Hot Deals .......and I will be back, gotta keep playing #3,4,& 18 till I make pars.

Fast greens
Greens healing nicely from aeration. Was still sandy so was like glass fast! Everything about course is great!
Still Pretty Darn Good
I’ve played the course for years and years. The range is a nice addition. The view as you walk up to the clubhouse is special.
The staff was friendly , especially the very nice woman at the bar inside.
The greens are lightning fast even though they were top dressed or aerated recently.
Overall a very nice track , slow play is really a problem everywhere.
