Challenging
This course is absolutely beautiful and can be a beast at the same time. Rolling fairways are perfectly manicured while your lie may not be flat it will be very playable. Greens roll true. There are a few blind tee shots that will challenge you.
Just outstanding course layout
Always a pleasure to play pine hills! The staff, pro shop, starters, course marshals, and food excellent! The course and greens are country club quality! I look forward to every opportunity to play this great golf course!
Beautiful course
Playing it for the first time was challenging but the layout was very nice and each hole had its challenges. Worth the money!
Good Course
The conditions were some of the nicest in Cleveland area. They advertise a walking rate, but the course is nigh unwalkable with severe up & downs, long walks between holes, and forced carries that you need to walk through the valley from tee to fairway or fairway to green.
A couple squeezed in holes that are goofy make the layout lacking. Also the elevations take out some risk/reward, leaving this as a true placement course, as there is only one option on the shot you are given.
Beginner golfers
Played with one other person, we both shoot well over par and I would consider us to be beginners. It was a very forgiving course for us, all of the sand traps are in play which is nice, have some loner holes, mostly par 4, hills added a nice challenge. We played the back 9 & only had water come into play twice.
Only down side was pace of play, the started sent us off on the back and a little early to try and help with pace however we got stuck behind a walker who was loosing steam & a very slow group of 4 (not the started fault).

I love this course fast greens but responsive. Overall condition is great. Would recommend this course to anyone. One of my favorites in the area!
Great test of golf
Challenging but fair. Country club conditions at a public course. The eighteenth hole is the best finishing hole in Northeast Ohio.

Just moved here and first time playing this course. For how dry and hot it is was/has been in the area, impressed with the greens not being burnt out and the course layout in general. Some course knowledge would’ve definitely been helpful, but still will definitely be back. Clubhouse was nice and clean, good pace of play as well.
Great Course
Course played well and quickly. 3.5 hour 18 holes. A bit pricey, but worth it.
Love Pine Hills
Fun course with nice elevation changes , some long par 3s and great conditions. #4 is one of my favorite holes in the area. #18 is as signature as it gets. Recommend to anyone
Pine Hills is Awesome
Pine Hills is one of best public courses in Ohio.
Fairways, traps, greens --great conditions.
#3 is toughest short 259yd par4.& Excellent par3s.
Greens this day had a top-dress, but no excuse for 4x3putts. Great Hot Deals from GN, and I will be back.
