Top Public Course in NE Ohio.
Golf digest lists Pine Hills as there #7 public course in NE Ohio, however, this is by far one of the nicest public courses around and arguably better than those proceeding in the rankings. Range is similar to private courses in that all driving range balls are Titlest practice balls. I played in the rain and it wasn’t a light rain but the course held up phenomenally. No puddles in fairway and didn’t change the pace of the greens too much. I will be back extremely impressed.
Solid course
I went during the week, very good conditions. Course was well kept and the layout was fun. Only played the front 9, no water which was appreciated
Gorgeous
Beautiful course and accompanying views, worth the journey (east sider) to get there. Elevation changes, doglegs, very good mix of holes, some target golf, pure greens. Can't ask for much more from a public course. Great finishing hole.
Awesome
Best course south west of Cleveland. Greens were punched, but still rolled true and fast. Going to be a lot of 3 jackers in a week or two. Can’t wait to get out there again.
Doing some work
They are working on the course. Looks like they are digging drainage ditches in certain spots and because of that the course is not in great shape. I am sure it will improve once the work is done. Course is usually in incredible shape.
Excellent Track
Pine Hills is one of my favorite golf courses in Ohio. Challenging but fair, always in tip-top shape, well maintained throughout the year. Staff is great, friendly and helpful. One of the best public golf courses in any area.

Very Playable After All Night Rain
Really drained well after overnight rain. Wet spots were not an issue. Carts were able to travel off the paths. Great pace.
