About
Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in Kissimmee boasts four different golf courses, two championship courses and two nine-hole layouts. Undoubtedly, the most popular course is the Legends. This Arnold Palmer-designed layout is like getting two courses in one. The front nine is a traditional links that is wide-open and windy, which makes club selection particularly challenging. It is a good warm-up for the even more demanding back nine. On the backside, you will be playing through mature oaks and towering pine trees that border the lush, winding fairways. It is quite a feat to successfully maneuver your tee shots through the narrow openings of the trees, which gives it the feel of a course in North Carolina. The signature hole is the 13th. This daunting hole features a large green that is shielded by a rock wall, surrounded by tall grass, and protected in back by a sand trap.

Palmer at his best
Great golf experience. Generous driving reception but think through the approach. Do not forget to get pin locations and play them. If there is wind figure club and a half minimum on the approaches over water. Green are sneaky quick but roll true. Do not rush any putt or else you will add a stroke to your score. On #18 play it to the right or find a double on your card. Enjoy. We did!
Great course but......
Challenging course with plenty of water features well placed along with the bunkers.
BUT the pace of play was disastrous 41/2 hours on a buggy with a wait at each hole. Can completely spoil your game. Marshals came out on the course but nothing seem to happen to improve the speed.
I would play the course again but be very selective as to when you play.
Good Condition... super SLOW
Good design and conditions. Would definitely recommend however like similar reviews here I had almost a 5 hour round. So as long as you're prepared you should be fine. I for one will probably not return due only because of the slow play.
The course is beautiful.
Has alot of nice water holes very challenging. I think the greens need a little repair. It is a little expensive for the quality
Great course
Always make it a point to play Orange Lake Legends when in Kissimmee. Getting on last minute is not problem and course is always in great shape. Lots of room on most holes tp drive. Short holes are the toughest as the penalty for missed greens is severe.

great time
course was in great shape. first time playing down in florida. had a few experinces with a couple of different animals.(gator in the sand.turkey on the green)other then that was a great expirence
Fog in the morning, needs some fine detail attention to bunkers and greens
One of my new favourite courses.
We caught a fog in the early morning tee up, however mid front 9, really got to appreciate the course design and layout.
Pace of play was very good, and the course was well maintained, however some bunkers and a few greens need attention or I would give this course perfect marks.
Can't wait to play this course again.

By the time we reached the turn, the foursome in front of us was 2 holes behind...none of the course marshals/rangers ever said anything to them....was a long round of golf

Looks easy plays harder
Beautiful course a little pricey but most courses down here are at this time of year. Greens were fast and in good shape. Overall course was well maintained. Would definitely play y again just wish prices could be lower. Other than price I have only good things to say about this course!
Play it
Great course. My son and I played 9 courses in 6 days. This one was our favorite of all. Great layout. Great condition. Greens rolled as you saw them.
PLAY IT>
Slow Play
The course was in average condition. The greens were not cut or rolled and therefore very inconsistent. The pace of play was very slow. We waited on every hole and never saw a ranger the whole time we were on the course. Beautiful layout but for what we paid for the round the course should have been in better shape and the course personnel more amiable.

Compared to ayear ago when course was fantastic, now fairways were hard and dry , greens not good, clubhouse staff not friendly, and now it is overpriced
great course at legends north
Had a great day,course in great shape was paired with three other golfers who were friendly and patient with an older golfer who does not hit as far as he used to,the staff were more than friendly. I would highly recommend to family and friends to book a tee time,just book before 2:15 in the afternoon to do all 18 holes .
Very good and challenging course
Very good course near Orland attractions, got it for a very good discounted rate (standard rate is higher), only doable with a cart as the course consists of a couple of groups of holes with huge distance in between
