Fox Hollow Golf Club

Played 18 Friday afternoon at 3pm for $40.

The course layout is fantastic. Challenging pin placements that day. The carts have gps & speakers which you will definitely need to be accurate in your distances. For those who care, the cart girl was stopping by frequently. Maybe every 4-5 holes. I love how the course temps you to carry the water off the tee & will punish you if you fail. Although playing it safe doesn’t always mean taking the easy route. Approach shots from the fairway can be challenging with a tough pin placement and bad angle. The fairways on all 18 holes were in great shape. No burnt or thin spots at all. The collars and approaches were so tight if you didn’t land on the green your ball would just roll. They were also not burnt or thin. The greens are fully recovered from aerification and they are spectacular. They roll so true, and had such a healthy color. No dye at all. Bunkers were in great shape. It had rained the night before and they were properly maintenanced the morning of so no lift clean and place. Tee boxes were flat and even. And cut just as tight as the fairways. The pro shop was a little bland. Not a big selection at all. Only sold pro v1s & some recycled balls. Less than a handful of new titeliest clubs. Idk if it’s regularly that price, or if it was a deal but I would’ve paid more to play here. This course beat me up but I’ll be back for more. Best course I’ve played out here.

It was a hot day 90+ and surprisingly busier than I would have expected. Staff was less than accommodating. I guess it is just a J.O.B.... Overall the course was in great condition, fairways were beautiful. The greens were a tad bit dry, but then again, we hadn't had rain in over a month, so I was actually pleased with their conditions. We'll definitely play here again soon.

Had a great time at The Fox this morning. As always the starter was there at my car ready to take my bag the moment I stepped out from my vehicle. Always pleasant , helpful and professional. Pace of play was excellent...Course condition after being aerified were great. On hole number 4 stuffed a 8 iron, one more roll and and Eagle it would have been but happily settled for a tap in birdie.

Tee boxes set up for multi-level players including seniors and ladies. However no accommodation for players who may need a handicap flag or more course cart access to reasonably play.

The course was in excellent condition and is an asset to it's membership and to the TampaBay golfing community.

Good golf experience. Lots of challenging holes over a great layout amongst houses that come in to play on tighter holes. The best part of the day is the huge alligator on the course!!!! Will golf there again. Fun Day.

Tough Course... Greens were a bit slow but very well maintained... They are punching the greens First Monday n June... Done hold play extremely long...apart of the toughness

Let’s just say I won’t be back anytime soon. The 4 some infront of us were receiving lessons and taking their sweet time reloading after every shot. Would stand there and talk on the tee box. Over booked. Won’t be back left after 13 holes and 4 hours later
