About
Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford is one of the most challenging courses in the area. The heathlands layout feels like a links course with wind being an important factor and thick fescue coming into play. The golf course starts with an especially tough front nine but there are more scoring opportunities on the back. Mounded bunkers and moguls define the movement of the fairways and though there aren't many trees, if you don't keep your shots straight you might find yourself out-of-bounds or lost in the high, wiry grass. Sidehill lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Wyncote's greens have little undulation but the lightning fast putting surfaces are a challenge for players of all skill levels. With a few "grip it and rip it" holes mixed in, Wyncote Golf Club is a tough but fair test.

Great Shape
2nd time playing Wyncote Golf, course is in excellent shape. The wind did alter a few shots to increase our scores. Played with another 2 some and had a great day..

Best links course around. Always in perfect condition. The property itself beautiful, with great vistas of Chester County.
The restaurant has great food. I enjoy staying for dinner after a round of golf.

Top PA Public
Not only is Wyncote one of the best public courses in the PA/DE area, but it’s one of my favorite courses I’ve ever played. This was about my 7th or 8th time playing and it seems to get better each time. Fantastic conditions, beautiful scenery and wide open vistas. The layout has a little bit of everything and there are enough tees to challenge all skill levels. Wyncote is a bonafide five star course and it makes the 40 minute drive from my home more than worth it.
Favorite course in PA
Easily my favorite public course in PA. The layout is great, the staff and facility are first class, and the conditions are always awesome. Well worth the 1 hr drive to get there. The best part - I have played as a single and got paired up with a few members and had a blast each and every time... including beers after the round to celebrate a good match.
