About
Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford is one of the most challenging courses in the area. The heathlands layout feels like a links course with wind being an important factor and thick fescue coming into play. The golf course starts with an especially tough front nine but there are more scoring opportunities on the back. Mounded bunkers and moguls define the movement of the fairways and though there aren't many trees, if you don't keep your shots straight you might find yourself out-of-bounds or lost in the high, wiry grass. Sidehill lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Wyncote's greens have little undulation but the lightning fast putting surfaces are a challenge for players of all skill levels. With a few "grip it and rip it" holes mixed in, Wyncote Golf Club is a tough but fair test.

Great course!
Playing at Wyncote is always a pleasure! Tough but fair layout, great greens, and always in good shape! Hope to play there again soon!
Very nice track and in great shape. Greens were scarred up some from unrepaired ball marks but rolled well.
Worth It
It tends to be $100 on the weekends. I found a coupon through my emails. Definitely worth getting out for a round. Been trying to get to this course for a while now.
Check it out if you have the chance. I hardly had any win today
Best conditions in the area
Not a blade of grass out of place.
Outstanding greens crew gives outstanding playing conditions.
One complaint—- you have given up on bunker rakes.
We stopped a greens crew worker to ask, and he said that people often broke the rakes provided on carts, and no one raked anyway.
Sad statement on the state of amateur golf.
The crews dress the bunkers well though.

Highly recommend
Played four courses in the area over the last week, one a highly rated private club. Wyncote was my favorite. The course was in beautiful shape and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back next summer.
First time playing this course but will definitely be back. It has been on my list of courses to play for a while. Everything about this course is great from the staff to the course layout.

Drove up from Annapolis, Md in am………..just like the reviews said , the Course was in great shape - and the greens were rolling very quick.
Roughly a 4 1/2 hour round - pace of play was good.
I’ll definitely be back - it was worth the trip.
Good value/experience for the money.
Especially enjoyed the solitude of being out in that country setting - that was right on que.

Have not played here in 20+ years and I was astonished by the quality of the course, the conditions, etc. Everything was perfect. Great layout, smooth fast greens. I’ll be back.
