Great New Orleans golf course gem on this side of the river!
Great neighborhood golf course with plenty of parking, an excellent restaurant, and a great support staff. Course is well maintained. Never had any issues at the course, even the cart girl is friendly and respectful! I am from Chicago originally and most of my golfing buddies are still living there. I usually team up with other golfers so that I don’t have to play by myself. So far, all of the people who I have played with have been very cordial, and have given me some excellent golf tips, and recommendations on great places to eat and enjoy live music in New Orleans Louisiana, my new home. Loving it in New Orleans “baby”!
Nice course to play
Golf course is okay, however the golf carts are too noisy, They sound like lawn mowers. No light snacks at the turn. (Hot dogs, hamburgers, or tuna sandwiches are not available). Only large restaurant meals are available.
Bad timing.
I booked online through golf now.. the course and the online tee time managers need to do a better job of listing events at the course.. I had a tee time for 839. No where did it say that the course was having a tournament that day. So I HAD to be off the course for 1130. I drove 45min to play the course. The pace of play was so slow that I possibly could have finished all 18 but had to stop at 9 holes because it was so slow.. just a crappy round
Great course and value
Staff was accommodating and really friendly. Great course for the money, so much nicer than city park this is a secret gem! If you have a day play this course and skip the others. They have great food selection and a full bar as well . Clubhouse is new and very nice also has a good range to warm up on. There is a great bird island that has tons of wildlife, very cool

Greens great condition. Fairways well cut.
Staff always friendly.
And clubhouse restaurant (Munchies?) was excellent. Smilie our waitress was great.
Marshals
Marshals need to limit fivesomes and pair up singles and twosomes more to improve pace of play.
Awful
Latoya the destrya must manage this golf course or has something to do with it.
Fairways are hard, very little grass.
Greens are ok.
their was a group of 4 from the 12th hole would not let me pass. on 18 they took 10 minutes to get off the green one gentilman was looking for a ball in the water while I waited 120 yards out and they could care less and no ranger said a word
A good inexpensive course
If you're not looking to break the bank and want a decent course this is your route. Greens are slow but are in good condition. Staff wasn't incredible by any means. Nothing particularly wows you. But wasn't overbooked which is hard to find at muni courses.
