Another great round of golf!
One of my favorite affordable courses in the New Orleans area. Nice greens and good overall maintenance.
Slow play
No problem with course, greens were very good.
Marshall's do not do their job.
A threesome held up the course and the Marshall did nothing.
I will not be back on the weekend.
DO NOT PLAY HERE
if you are traveling to new Orleans do not play this course. I played as a single behind a 3 and 2 some Before I even teed off the 4some behind me at the first says hey buddy go lay the back first you are going to hold us up. I told them the desk did not say play back. I played the front went and got a drink at the turn and told the 4 some behind me to go ahead and play then the Marshall pulls up and demands my receipt that the 4 some said I cut in front of them on 10. Showed him my receipt and he says again well they said you didn't pay and pushed in in front of them. mind you I played the front in front of them. The course manager refused to do anything and refused a refund saying not their policy to refund. Do not play here go to Lakewood and Stonebridge a little higher priced but better staff, course and other players.
Good course
One of the better courses in NOLA. They take good care of the course. The only knock i have for this place is there is no chipping area. But, you get your money's worth at this course for sure. Greens are fast though lol.
Well desighned coursel
Most courteous and friendliest that I've ever encountered.
Nice course hidden in the city
Fairways were manicured and greens were in nice shape. Some spots on a couple greens were it was repaired and not yet taken but overall a really nice gem in the city. Would play here again.
Why can't all the courses in our area be this nice.
This course was a pleasure to play today. The greens were great, and lightning fast. Other courses in this area struggle keeping the grass cut. The ball was rolling in the fairways like we are use to this time of year.
Perfect
The course is in perfect condition ! The fairways are very nice and the greens championship quality! I love this course. If your in New Orleans this is a must play course.
Perfectly manicured golf course!
This is a hidden gem in New Orleans !
If you want to play a challenging yet playable golf Course. Love it love it love it.
Hot Time at Joe B.
Hadn't played in two weeks and was "jones-in" to go out. With bad weather pending, I wasn't sure I would be able to play. Thankfully, the rain held off and it was a hot but breezy afternoon at Joe. B. in Ponchartrain Park. The fairways are in excellent condition right now. The greens are another story. Most have either fungal damage or heat damage, not sure which one. However with a little creativity, say, placing your ball in an undamaged line of sight, this challenge can be overcome. In fact, I only did it once yesterday, so maybe it won't have to be done at all.
Beautifully warm and breezy weather with few golfers, probably scared-off by fear of bad weather. The course is mostly flat with a challenging layout. Good course for the average or above-average golfer.
