Excellent price with good fairways and some needed improvements for the greens. Overall very good compared to others we’ve played in NOLA with triple price.
Greens are horrible
Greens have patches all over bumpy and full of sand
Needs work
I play this course regularly. Staff is very friendly and clubhouse has great food. However the greens have turned for worse in the last few months. They were in great shape in the winter but something changed drastically recently and that are very bare now with sand/dirt patches all over . I hope this is just a short term problem because otherwise this course is fantastic and great value.
Course needs work
16/18 greens are dog skit I wish I took pictures - LOTS of water everywhere so bring cheap balls. Holes felt similar to others / pin position. Fairways had weeds throughout the entire course. NEEDS WORK. Won’t be coming back to play until they get this course in better shape. Worth $20 tops to play 18.
Nice course but..:
Greens needed a little TLC and play bogged down on the back nine. But other than that it was a nice course.
Good Course for the Money
This course’s fairways were well maintained, but the greens were in poor condition. The green condition is the only aspect of the course that I have negative things to say about.
Fine for a muni
Course is a typical muni course with some water.
The conditions were at the muni level with the greens pretty beaten up and fairways so so- assuming some of that is early season challenges. Course fairly straightforward but the price for golf very reasonable.
Good for the price
The course is nice but the clubhouse is tiny and doesn’t have much in it.
Tee times too close together. Greens were not well maintained. They were full of sand.
Time for a new greens keeper
This used to be a good course for the money, but the greens are horrible. They are hard, sandy, cover with fungus. They need to find someone who knows how to keep grass healthy.
Pace of play is the ABSOLUTE WORST I'VE EVER SEEN. I played with a couple of friends and the was a 2 some playing in front of us out of 1 bag. They were pathetic golfers they hit 3 balls per person they posed for picks after every shot. We called the ranger and he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Course in Good Condition
Staff is excellent. The course was in good shape except for the bunkers. Rain for several days had something to do with that.
Pace of play was great on the front 9.
It got backed up on the back 9 with 2 groups sometimes waiting by the same tee box.
Overall it was a fun round.
