Time for a new greens keeper
This used to be a good course for the money, but the greens are horrible. They are hard, sandy, cover with fungus. They need to find someone who knows how to keep grass healthy.
Pace of play is the ABSOLUTE WORST I'VE EVER SEEN. I played with a couple of friends and the was a 2 some playing in front of us out of 1 bag. They were pathetic golfers they hit 3 balls per person they posed for picks after every shot. We called the ranger and he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Course in Good Condition
Staff is excellent. The course was in good shape except for the bunkers. Rain for several days had something to do with that.
Pace of play was great on the front 9.
It got backed up on the back 9 with 2 groups sometimes waiting by the same tee box.
Overall it was a fun round.
Great day of golf
Got teamed up with one of the marshals. What a great guy. The greens are getting a little rough. I hope they get control of the fungus that is killing the greens.
Horrible
As far as price, it’s great. The pace of play and non-professional staff members make it very difficult to want to go back to play at this course. The staff caters to certain individuals and totally turn their noses up at everyone else. Like I said, if it wasn’t such a great price per round, I would have 86’d this course along time ago.
Slow players will not allow faster players to play thru. Marshals should be riding around telling slow players to pick up the pace.
DON’T USE A CREDIT CARD
So the course is actually fine, especially for the value of your teatime. However, do not use a card in the clubhouse. About two months back I used a card there in my last purchase was in the clubhouse, then my card was used for multiple online purchases worth hundreds of dollars. I didn’t think anything of it, although I was suspicious. I went back yesterday, and of course, late last night, my card was attempted for more fraud purchases in the middle of the night. They either have a scanning machine on the credit card or employees are using customers numbers. I called to speak with someone but was blown off & never received a call back. Be careful.
Playing
I just canceled because it’s literal 37° out. I would like my refund or atleast a rain check.
