Basically playing on just dirt
Not really maintained green, more like playing on dirts. Things have changed since we played 3 years ago
Unfriendly staffs. Will not return
Fall
Greens and fairway were not in a good condition. The club house also didn’t tell us there was a full blown festival going on right next to the course. Bathrooms on the course were closed too.
Jimmy C
Course is nice fairway’s are struggling a little. Not much Gras on them. But definitely a good place to play. Staff is great.
Hard fairways
All of the fairways are hard and have very little grass. Greens are always good.
If they ever grow the grass in the fairways, this course would be great!
It's a Muni
Greens are medium to slow and in decent condition. Fairways are very rough. I'm sure it's due to the lack of rain this summer. Be ready to play preferred lies in the fairway or accept that you may be hitting out of a bare spot or hole. As I put in the title it a muni and is definitely worth the green fees. I will come back because it is a great place for a practice round.
Best bang for your buck!
Course was in nice shape and greens played well. In town for the weekend and was planning to play English Turn however with the resident and non resident fees being more then double $$$ decided to play the “Bart” course. It was the perfect choice!
Good Time
The greens were in good condition and running fast. Overall, a good experience playing.
friendly people
Everybody needs rain around there. Nice restrooms around the course. Water was available on course. Courtesy cart was present for snacks and cold drinks. Lots of water on the course, so checking the scorecard for their locations is a good idea.
What is the story on the new restrooms?
look like they have been finished for months yet not yet in service. The port o potties have been removed long ago yet new restrooms have not been placed in service. Also I believe water coolers should have been part of the plan for the new restrooms. I happen to be playing when the water jugs were removed to be refilled so no water for a number of holes, would it make sense to have a extra set of coolers to replace ones in service while others are being refilled, especially when the temperature is in triple digits.
Great course… But
Really great course. Its in great shape and you cant beat the price. But.. the last time i played (July 16th) i was just starting the back 9 and the weather got bad and we were told the course would not be reopening for the day. This was booked through GolfNow and they told us we had to contact them for weather closures. I spoke with someone from GolfNow the following Tuesday and was told they have to contact the course first to confirm they did actually close due to weather and they would get back to me. Almost a month later, August 11th, I finally received a call from GolfNow saying the course reported no closures on the date i played. 1 star to the course for lying about closing and 1 star to GolfNow for letting it go a month. If they didnt do anything for naturally occurring events thats very okay i understand. But reporting you didnt close after we were asked to leave isnt cool.
Good greens
Very nice coarse for the price. Greens are smooth and true.
