Boulder Oaks Golf Club

The course was in a rough condition. The rough varied from very tall grass, to dirt, to lots of holes. The greens were in decent shape. The Tee Boxes were fine. Where the real trouble at this course is their bunkers. They need to either place some sand and remove all the weeds from the bunkers or just get rid of them all together. As the bunkers stand they are unplayable, almost like they should all be considered ground under repair.

Fun and challenging course that could be great if they put some effort into it. The bunkers are full of weeds but greens were in excellent condition considering the drought. Carts are old but work just fine, cart paths are pretty bumpy at times so carts take a beating. Staff is very friendly. I rented clubs which were an old mismatched set but we’re playable and cheap. Would play again if I’m ever in the area again. Nice views from several holes. Played in just under 3 hours.

Course is okay. Price with cart is good. If you looking for great to perfect course conditions, go elsewhere. If you want practice you game on a target golf course, this course is made for that.

Variation, they are doing really nice work on the fairways and greens. Sometimes they offer great deals... always enjoy playing there.

Most fairways are pretty fair, and very playable without too many dirt areas. Greens are in pretty decent condition no problem here. My problem is the $20 charge for the 1950's golf carts too much $$$ and high!!! No windshield, bench seats are ripped, no usb, no gps and the wheels feel like they're about to come off. I think $10 for the cart is very reasonable. Some tee boxes are too low to pick targets, a bit of a challenge.

Lots of quality maintenance going on, the greens were better than ever. Best round in six months!

Course condition is very good as long as you are on the fairways and the greens. The rough is under repair (not playable) on 2 holes and more like dirt and weeds on many holes. The bunkers are hardly playable. They know about it and plan to redo them entirely in the near future But again, the greens are entirely redone and super smooth and the fairways soft in the vast majority. The layout is challenging for shorter game. If your pride is to show your 400yard drive going on the wrong fairway, don't play here, you'll lose many balls. Water, boulders, steep hills up and down make a challenging and fun course. The bar/restaurant is on the nice side and the staff as been the most friendly I've seen recently in South Cal. The value is great. I'll be back there really soon!!

Great course to work on your short game. I'm looking forward to playing again soon. The people there were really nice and helpful.

a lot of improvements have been made as far as clearing out a bunch of the trees that were dead, or overgrown. Only complaint is that they don't really keep track of tee times, pretty much once you get your cart its a mad dash to hole 1. Course gets stacked up, lots of amateurs playing multiple balls off the tee and dropping 2,3rd shots off the tee when losing one which is easy to do here.
