Fun open course.
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in great shape. Lots of roll in the fairways and greens fast! Had a nice time with group I joined. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Great Course
Wonderful course, is well taken care of, staff was friendly when walking in. There’s really nothing bad to say about this course would recommend for someone who is starting out, as well as just a fun course to build you confidence on. Will definitely come back and play again.
Great staff, nice course
Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Played during December and the course was still in pretty decent shape. Not sure if it was the tee time I booked but ended up being 2x as expensive as some of the other courses I played. Would recommend playing this course, just be prepared to pay a little more than usual.
Historic Golf
Steeped in history, playing 18 here brings you back to a different time where it just feels classic in the best sense. The more I play here the more I like it.
4 groups on a holes 7-15 then I left
Course isn’t worth the Troon golf $50 a round they are charging. As mentioned. Not a ranger in site. When I came off the course 3 workers met me and I explained the back up and they said we cut the Ranger position as 3 staff members stood there. Save your money head to other options or out of town. It was 2 groups holding everyone up and they had a 2 hole cushion in front of them. We got caught by a group that started 5 holes behind us by hole 14.
Questionable location but not bad overall
Staff was friendly and price was great. Course conditions were a little bad (very muddy and very uneven cart path). Felt bad for the cart girl as I guess their primary vehicle was down so they were given a cart with a limited selection of drinks in a feeding trough and an umbrella was provided by a nice patron, not the actual establishment, which was a bit concerning regarding the care afforded to working personnel. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience but difficult to say whether or not it competes with the other local courses. Best bang for your buck for sure though.
Can't believe this course is such bad shape, OB Sports should be embarrassed.
The city should get a refund from OP Sports for the crappie job they do.
