AHSUM!
Course is in great shape. Hurry out and play it before everybody else finds out how AHSUM the place is playing. As all us Tucsonans know sand traps are typically terrible…. Well, even that’s in good shape. Go play! You won’t be disappointed-

Great public course
Incredible value for a Tucson Public course. Greens were impecable.
Always a Challenge
The variety of holes on this challenging course make it a real treat to try to conquer. You need to be very accurate off the tee as there is a lot of target golf involved. Take several balls with you and don’t spend a lot of time looking for stray balls, but accept the penalty and keep moving to keep the pace of play where it should be.
As Reported By Others, the Course Has Improved
We play this course once a year, and we had heard from local players that the course had received improvements. We thought the fairways, bunkers, and greens were all in better shape yesterday than they were last year. We really like this course. I can see why local golfers like playing it on a regular basis year-round. If I lived in Tucson, I'd play it regularly, too.
Roadrunner convention
Spent a beautiful fall day at the course. Gentle breeze blowing and I had never seen so many roadrunners on the course at one time.
The grounds were well kept. Greens were very fast.
Always enjoy play at Enke
Halfway House needs to be sanitized. Mold, animal feces. City Sanitation would have field day giving out citations. This has been going on for so time. Great looking course....Let's go for great looking washrooms!
You Better You Bet!
Course is coming off of over-seed couple weeks back so didn’t know what to expect. Well,, after I rolled my 1st put 5ft by I found myself pleasantly surprised. Greens are rolling true and if ur downhill at all it’s playing actually pretty quick. We are still pouring tons of water on the course so expect a mud ball here n there but wow! Tee box to green the place is playing extremely solid. So,,, if ur contemplating headed over to Enke,,, you better you bet!!
Great Round
I enjoyed my round with a friend around Fred Enke. It wasn't too crowded in the middle of the day. Temps were warm but not too bad. Grass is in great shape and greens were good and fair. I putted pretty well on them. I always enjoy a walk through the desert out there!
Tucson's Best Buy
This would be my "home course" due to being the one I most often play at. Half here and half everywhere else. Good conditions and some great views. Best chipping area. Convenient.
