Overall, the course was a really good experience.
Staff was welcoming. Practice area for chipping, sand traps and practice green was verry good to have pre=tee off. Course was in great condition even thougth we had cart path only because of seeding season. Challenging for a public course and quite long as well. Nice to have a course like this be a public course. Price was very acceptable fro Golf Now.
Very playable
A good course for my style of play as it is open and not a great deal of rough. Greens is good condition. Staff OK but cashier not too friendly
Good walkable course with few obstructions and little water
We played at 7:50 am and were able to complete our round in just over 4 hours. The conditions were good with new grass on the fairways. It was cart path only as this was just after the fall seeding.
The course is mostly open with small elevation changes. 4 sets of tees provide a range of distance for all players.
It's a city course all right.
Not used to so many golfers walking, so pace of play was slow. Ground was really soft probably due to overseeding, ball hits the ground and stays. Driving range was nice and shady. The smell from the sewage plant begins to take a toll on your nose and head, but i am glad i got to experience this course.
Course is in good shape.
Greens are a bit slow but are pretty smooth. Fairways are good. Well worth playing.
the course was in good shape
it was cart path only but overall it was in good shape .
Course is in great condition.
I like playing Silverbell. The rate was good, pace of play was good and staff was very friendly.
The course is in very good shape.
The course was in nice shape and play was well paced. Started about 8 am and moved quickly. The greens are nice. The price was exceptional for this time of year in Arizona.
The course was just overseeded.
It was cart path only, but that was not noted on Golf Now.
after the over seeding the course is in great shape.
I like this course, one of the best city course in tucson, I would like to see the city do a little bit more in keeping it up in good condition for all to injoy this course, I would like to see them do something with the dead area that once were part of the course.
course was in great shape
tee times were over booked not enough golf carts. staff was very friendly, tee times were about 1-1/2 hour behind. course was in great shape.
Silverbell Golf Course
Not much to say other then, it was just Decent for a city course.
nice relaxing course
it was great as always, real busy though we only got through 16 with a 2:17 tee time, lots ahead of us and it was cart path only so some groups real slow. had a hard clicking on options this survey took real long because of that.
Good mix of short/long par 3/4s
The golf holes by themselves are a great mix of length and direction (the wind can blow here).
The open spaces between holes on the back nine are rough looking.
More than average course.
I learned on Silverbell and continue to hone my skills on this course. While the open fairways and very visible greens make it seem easy the varying terrain and occasional breezes make for challenging drives and strokes to get to the greens. Work on my short game and handling my irons are easily accomplished in the nearby driving range and putting green which is good for warm-ups, too.
nice course layout with decent greens and comfortable fairways.
We really enjoy this golf course. The Fairways are not too narrow and it has a nice balance of bunker and water hazard with most of the holes. Decent restrooms, which many city courses do not have, in two areas of the course. They have done an amazing job of re-seeding and the place looks beautiful. When we aren't playing a round, we enjoy their chipping and putting practice areas. Would like better bunker sand, but this is one of our favorite courses to play in Tucson.
Wide open course for the big hitters.
Silverbell is always a nice course for every level of skill golfer. Just enough water and bunkers to make it challenging.
Well maintained, moderately challenging, good value for money
Have played this course several times, enjoy the layout, course difficulty, the reasonable rates and the staff is always friendly.
Good course - hopefully it will be in better shape after Fall work
Always liked this course - it is challenging but when in good shape (Fall/Winter) it is fun to play. Pricing is fair. Staff does a good job - could use more Rangers to speed up play. Course should encourage golfers some how to play from tees compatible with their level of play. Play forward. Hope it will stay open indefintely and that the course can be returned to at least the same condition as last season after the Fall work.
