Fantastic Value. A newer muni that is coming into its own and is a lot of fun to play.
Silverbell is a fantastic muni. If the overall rating was intended to purely establish value, i'd rate it 5+. The greens were challenging, and there are enough hazards around the course to get into trouble, while being generally wide open, so its not a ball hunting expedition. This is a semi-links style course, with hard fairways that roll, and lots of ways to play shots around the green. An excellent place to for all skill levels, but especially good for mid to high handicappers who will keep up the pace but take advantage of open design and easy to access greens.
Muddy,needs attention
This course is long, muddy, and unkept in some area's. There is no marshall and play is very slow. We saw children playing golf on the course. This is a public course and looks and acts like one.
Nice course, very opened
The pace was good and the course and greens were in good shape. We were allow to tee off early as the 1st tee was opened and we were ready to play.
Course is interesting.
Enjoyed playing Silverbell. Had a long wait for carts
because many were not in operating condition. Staff made
the extra wait OK. All in all a good afternoon.
Good course, but the smell from the waste water treatment plant may make you wish you had palyed another course.
This course is a long one with 4 or 5 par fours over 400 yards from the white tees. The fairways were fine, and the greens are large and in good condition. The only bad thing about the course is the smeel form a nearby waste water treatment plant.
This course was a great value!
My brothers and I had a great time at your course this weekend, despite the individual working the tee time box. Not exactly a pleasant person to deal with. The staff members working the clubhouse, and beer cart were great - the course was great. Thank you.
The Course is always fun to play
The greens are true and fast . The Course is in good shape and receptive even for a twenty handicapper like me.
I was not able to move the sliders above to the desired position, they only move to the extream positions, high and low
I will be back
With a little work on irrigation, cart paths, and filling in ruts and holes, this could be a better course.
Although playable, it's the typical Municipal course. Bunkers are wet packed, players don't fix divots and ball marks. Plays long with damp fairways,(no roll out). The greens are not fast.
City run course is a good value
This is a Tucson city course and is in good condition. Fairways were good, greens were good and pace of play was @41/4 hours which is good for a lengthy course. I will play there again.
Overall, the course was a really good experience.
Staff was welcoming. Practice area for chipping, sand traps and practice green was verry good to have pre=tee off. Course was in great condition even thougth we had cart path only because of seeding season. Challenging for a public course and quite long as well. Nice to have a course like this be a public course. Price was very acceptable fro Golf Now.
Very playable
A good course for my style of play as it is open and not a great deal of rough. Greens is good condition. Staff OK but cashier not too friendly
Good walkable course with few obstructions and little water
We played at 7:50 am and were able to complete our round in just over 4 hours. The conditions were good with new grass on the fairways. It was cart path only as this was just after the fall seeding.
The course is mostly open with small elevation changes. 4 sets of tees provide a range of distance for all players.
It's a city course all right.
Not used to so many golfers walking, so pace of play was slow. Ground was really soft probably due to overseeding, ball hits the ground and stays. Driving range was nice and shady. The smell from the sewage plant begins to take a toll on your nose and head, but i am glad i got to experience this course.
Course is in good shape.
Greens are a bit slow but are pretty smooth. Fairways are good. Well worth playing.
the course was in good shape
it was cart path only but overall it was in good shape .
The course is in very good shape.
The course was in nice shape and play was well paced. Started about 8 am and moved quickly. The greens are nice. The price was exceptional for this time of year in Arizona.
