Steele Canyon Golf Club - Canyon/Ranch

The course is an interesting 27 hole layout with really nice greens. Lots of variation in length. Holes meander through the canyon and no two holes are side by side. Fairways are in good shape considering the lack of rain recently. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Played on a Hot Time rate which was a very fair price but probably wouldn’t pay the “rack rate” that I heard was significantly higher. I would play it again and recommend it to friends.

Had not played here in 10+ years. Won't make that mistake again! The place was incredible. Fast greens, excellent course conditions and a nice pace of play. Finished up with lunch in the clubhouse and it was awesome as well. Everything was A++!

Played Canyon / Ranch.

Canyon course layout is a joke! Ranch has a few good holes but some gimmicky ones also.

Green conditions were very good. Some fairways nice, but overall nothing I'd recommend

Good overall track and conditions. Small driving range to warm up and nice practice putting greens. I stayed for lunch and the food was good. They don’t have showers so if you need to change to go to a meeting after, yuu’ll need to make other arrangements.

What an incredible course! The course was in fantastic shape fairways were beautiful greens rolled true and were in incredible shape. The club house was immaculate the staff was very friendly and the views were majestic. If I lived in East County San Diego I would make this my home course without a doubt. It was simply the best experience of my five days of golf on my trip to San Diego.

Always are great time playing Steele Canyon. My buddy was alittle bit late and the starter worked with me to get us on in a timely manner.

This course has the best greens and overall conditions of anywhere in the south I would put this course ahead of Sycuan. Pace of play was not great but if the slow group ahead of us would have let us through it would have been fine. I highly recommend this course.

First time playing and there are some unknown hole layouts that if knowing would play different. A bit pricey compared to others in area, but will come back.

Fantastic golf course! Great views and great lay out. Well worth the half hour drive from downtown.

We played Canyon/Vineyard on a Monday. Nice conditions. Canyon layout is much tougher but overall beautiful. You need to have some experience to score well. We’ll come back the next time visiting San Diego area.
